About this villa rental
Villa Coster del Puig is in a stunning location on the gentle lower slopes of the Puig de Maria mountain, accessible up a country track next to the famous monument, just off the Pollensa road. It has spectacular views over the old town of Pollenca to the wooded hills beyond, and is only a short walk from the town itself. It's a traditionally built Mallorcan cottage made from local stone, with modern styling inside-white walls, terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings, and halogen spot lighting. The airy sound-proof lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open plan. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, dark wood furniture and a traditional Mallorcan stove. Double patio doors lead out onto the terrace. The kitchen area has appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. There's also a pantry with lots of storage space. The two bedrooms are both beautifully furnished with antique furniture, and have views over the gardens. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower. A vine-covered terrace runs along the lounge side of the house, with a table and benches. There are wonderful views from here of the old town of Pollenca, the famous 365 Calvari steps and the mountains beyond. Looking the other way, there are lovely views of the Puig de Tomir mountain. There's another terrace in front of the house with a built-in barbecue and its own seating area.
The gardens at Villa Coster del Puig are very well cared for with lawns and mature shrubs and trees. The pool itself is surrounded on three sides by lawn, and a stone sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers runs along the other side. This is a lovely villa in a wonderful location and yet is just a short walk from Pollensa and its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely beaches are also a short drive away.

As a family of 4, we have stayed at Coster del Puig on numerous occasions since around 2008 when our children were very small and we love everything about it!
The owners are lovely and the property is kept in pristine condition. Inside it has everything you need. This time we got to sample some wine from the owners vineyard which was very nice.
Outside the garden is extremely well maintained as is the pool which has a lovely view towards Pollensa village and the Calvari steps in the background.
Pollensa village is a short 2 minute walk away down a hill and if you want some exercise you can walk up the steep incline to Puig Maria with some amazing views out towards the bay.
I would also highly recommend Nord Villas. They keep in contact with you before, during and after your stay to ensure everything is ok. Nothing is ever a problem.

We had a great time at Coster Del Puig and would highly recommend it, it looks just like the photos!The drive up to the property is very tight in places, so a big car would not be recommended.It's a short walk into lovely Pollensa, but we drove every time we went in as it was so hot.It takes about 10 mins in the car to get to Puerto Pollensa, where there's plenty of parking just a short walk from the beaches, bars and restaurants.The pool is a good size, nice and clean and very deep at one end. We did find that the chlorine was too strong, so if you have people with sensitive skin in your group, it might be worth asking in advance to go easy on it.The terrace is a really good size and well shaded with good lighting at night. We spent most of our time out there.The villa has everything you need and it's all in good working order. The shower is powerful and there's always plenty of hot water.The gardens are lovely with mature plants everywhere as well as in pots on the terrace etc. It looks lovely at night when lit up.You are aware of the noise from the road, especially in the mornings. You can't hear it when inside, only when on the terrace or pool area.The villa is very private and not overlooked and has great views over Pollensa old town.

Everything was excellent. Location, cleanliness, facilities etc.
The only thing wrong was that the sun umbrella at the pool didn't work.
