San Romolo is an ancient stone farmhouse immersed in the Chianti countryside. Typical of the farmhouses in the area, it has several floors and includes an outbuilding, totalling 210 sq. m. with 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for up to 10 persons. The private swimming pool is in a panoramic location overlooking the spacious garden of the property and there is also a large shaded pergola complete with a barbecue and a wood stove.
 
External Area and Swimming Pool
The farmhouse boasts large open areas and is completely surrounded by olive groves and vineyards typical of the region. The large, charming garden has many places for you to relax or to drink a glass of Chianti Classico while admiring the sunset. The shaded terrace has iron outdoor furniture and an old wood stove, perfect for cooking pizza and bread, as well as a barbecue. The rectangular swimming pool (6x12 metres, 1.5m deep) is in a beautiful location just underneath the house, in an enclosed area with a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside and is complete with sunbeds for sunbathing or for relaxing in the shade.Interior
Like the other ancient farmhouses in Chianti, San Romolo has several floors. A flowered gallery leads from the car park to the main entrance of the house, on the raised ground floor. Here you will find the living room with satellite TV and another small room which leads to a double bedroom and a small bathroom with shower (without shower tray). A few steps take you to the ground floor where there is the dining room with a fully equipped kitchen leading to the shaded patio, perfect for outdoor meals and near to both the wood stove and the barbecue. You get to the first floor via a cotto and iron staircase from the raised ground floor. Here you will find 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with two single beds, all of which have a beautiful view, and 2 bathrooms with shower. The small outbuilding has a living room with a kitchen area, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a garden and a small terrace furnished with tables and chairs.

San Romolo has Wi-Fi, central heating, mosquito screens in all of the bedrooms, a wood stove, a barbecue, fans in every room, parking in the property.
 
Services
The price includes: bathroom and bedroom linen (changed weekly), internet, gas, water consumptions, high chair and baby bed.
Upon request and to be paid for at the house are cookery courses, dinners, hired help and wine tours.
 
Important Information
Swimming pool open from 01/05 to 30/09. San Romolo is attached to another house but is completely private: the other house does not have windows overlooking the garden or the swimming pool.Activities and Distances
The farmhouse is an ideal place from which to visit the main towns in the area and the ancient villages and castles of the noble families of Florence and Siena. We suggest visiting and tasting the products of the nearby farms and wine cellars in Chianti, horse riding, excursions, hiking and cookery courses. Tavarnelle 4.8km (shops, tennis court), Florence 40 km, Siena 47 km.
