Costa Azul Apartamento

Nice apartment next to the beach in a nice resort with two swimming pools and two bars. Have also access to the next resort until 23:00 The check in process to get the keys and reach the apartment is easy and straight forward as the staff is always responsive and communication is good. The complex is really quiet at night so can have good night rest in the apartment. The kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped including a washing machine. One of the highlights of the apartment in the rooftop with amazing sea views where you can have lot of sun. Would be nice to have a sun umbrella there with the sun beds but it is also fine as it is. Highly recommended to have a good holidays in Fanabe Beach.

L'appartamento si trova presso il complesso Los Olivos, quale noi già conoscevamo, perché eravamo già stati precedentemente. Proprio per questo abbiamo scelto Costa Azul Apartamento. Ci e piaciuto tanto, ritorneremo di sicuro! Ci sono tanti altri posti sull'isola che vorremo visitare, anche questa volta non ci e bastato il tempo, nonostante avevamo noleggiato auto. Signora Natalia è stata molto gentile, la prima mattina la macchina del caffè non partiva, è lei subito l'ha sostituita. La posizione è molto bella e comoda, in prima linea, al balcone si vedeva l'oceano e dalla terrazza sopra sia oceano, che tutto il complesso Los Olivos.

Very close to the beach and bars/restaurants. Nice swimming pool a very short walk away. Well equipped kitchen. Private sun-bathing terrace on the roof with sun beds. Partial sea view from the balcony. Table and chairs out there. Complimentary bottles of wine and water. There were also some spices, tea bags and cooking oil in the cupboard, probably left behind by previous guests. Also, the hosts came out to meet me after the taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong location, even though he had the full address. That was very good of them as I'd have been lost otherwise.

As this apartment is privately owned, the hotel doesn't clean it or provide fresh towels. That's down to the hosts. I stayed 10 days and it wasn't cleaned once. I even sent a text message asking for black bin liners so I could empty the kitchen bin but they never replied. The chap who handed over the keys was very friendly but his back-up team in the office couldn't speak English when I called them and were less helpful. The bed/pillows weren't that comfy and there was no air con in the bedroom but at least they provided a fan which helped get to sleep at night. I was woken up most nights by hotel guests making a lot of noise outside in the small hours of the morning, but I suppose there was nothing either the hosts or the hotel could have done about that. You get those sort of people everywhere unfortunately. The TV was a bit small and didn't have any English channels but I didn't come here to watch TV so not particularly bothered about that. Please note you have to pay a £300 deposit for damages when you check in and I had to pay in cash on the first night as their credit card machine didn't work. They said it was a problem with my card issuer, but after spending an hour the next day trying to sort it out with MBNA it turned out to be their machine not getting a signal. That was probably due to their router needing a re-boot which they could have spotted themselves as all the lights were out. I would have re-booted it myself but there was a sticker on it telling guests not to tamper with it. After that it worked fine and I had good wi-fi on both my devices. Anyway, they then took payment by credit card and gave me my £300 cash back the very next day, so full marks to them for that, but it is something to watch out for.
