Sejuk Cottages

Location was great. Not beachfront but not far and was quiet. Staff were lovely and always accommodating to needs.

Nothing.

A beautiful place to stay on Gili Air. Our room opened right onto the swimming pool, which was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, catering to any request immediately. The free breakfast was delicious, and they welcomed us with drinks that were so refreshing in the hot weather. They also rent out scooters and bikes, which made getting around easy. A wonderful, attentive stay.

The only thing that caught us off guard was finding a lizard on the floor of our room. A small thing, and fairly common in the tropics, but worth a mention.

Everything and the staff were so accommodating

The walk up to the property was very dark at night

The staff were friendly and always greeted us as we came and go. The cottages were quaint and unique from our other accommodations. We appreciated the beauty in the woven roofs and walls, the frangipani tree in the middle of the pool and its fallen flowers decorating the water, and the relaxing communal area with a small library. The included breakfast was always satisfying and there were many breakfast options. They also had bikes and scooters/E-bikes that you can rent.

During the day, the cottage can get hot and takes time to cool down with air-conditioning but a fan was also available. Mosquitoes can easily get trapped in the bathroom as there’s gaps in the roof ceiling. As beautiful as the woven walls are, they are quite thin so we could occasionally hear our neighbours talking.
