Living room with two queen sofa beds. Shops, gasoline and other services are 2.5km away. 15 mins to Palau. 20 mins to Santa Teresa Gallura. 30 mins to Porto Cervo (golf).

Our stay at Lorenzo's place was absolutely fantastic. The place is spacious and gorgeous. A bunch of cute little kittens were eagerly awaiting our return from the beach every day. Our kids had fun with the donkeys and the pool. As mentioned in all the previous reviews the house is not far away from dozens of beautiful beaches (the nearest maybe 15 minutes by car). The little village nearby has two bars, a hairdresser and two small supermarkets, a gas station etc.
Lorenzo's a great guy. He provided us with tons of useful tips, searched and arranged trips for us using his connections. Heck - we even got a crate full of organic veggies through one of his friends. We recommend taking the kayak tour!!!
Highly recommended, especially if you have kids!

We had great and relaxing two weeks in September in Lorenzos house. Our two kids loved the pool and donkeys. There are a lot of great beaches around Palau, for sure you need a car to go there. Lorenzo gave us good advises for trips and events, our big son is still talking about the canoe trip organized by him! Definitely a great place to stay as a family. All the best from Germany

At the time we booked this house there was only one review and one guest comment on the website and although both were very good we were not sure what to expect. However within the house there is a big book with so many great guest reviews, several from returning holidaymakers; people really love this house and it's interesting owner.
We stayed at Lorenzo's wonderful house for a week and it was so much more interesting to stay in a home with a history rather than a purpose built holiday unit. The house is a beautifully quirky place to stay in and Lorenzo is a great source of local information and a perfect host - he is readily available if you have queries but also respects your privacy. You do need a car of course but we enjoyed retiring inland from the busy town or beach each day. The amazing beaches of northern Sardinia are easy to get to and Palau is a pretty town with numerous restaurants and options for day trips. We are a family of 3 but there would have been enough room for several more. The showers are fantastic, plenty of hot water, kitchen facilities good and the pool is a bonus and great for children. We had wifi which was worth having and of course feeding donkeys is fun for adults and kids alike!
Highly recommended if you want to get away from it all.
