It is a nice family owned place with very friendly service and amazing views. Location was about 25 minutes drive to the main skiing areas around Schladming, and roads were ok even when it had been snowing. You can order fresh bread from the local bakery, so it hangs on your doorknob at 7 am - and we booked an amazing horse sleigh ride to the Oberalm - definitely worth both the time and money!
The hotel is located at the top of a steep road, that is not always cleared of snow, so snow chains are needed in the winter time

The location is perfect, giving you an amazing view over Filzmoos. Ski slopes are minutes away by car. Rooms are large with comfortable beds.
It was a bit cold for the first 2 days, especially on the floors.
