A Perfect Stay in Paradise

Our stay at Hotel Visad was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with crystal clear turquoise water just steps away. The private beach area was quiet, clean, and never crowded, which made feel like we had our own little piece of paradise. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and you could really sense the pride they take in the hotel. From check-in to check-out, everything felt easy and relaxed. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the sea. Waking up to that view was pure magic. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and everything was very well maintained. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already planning our next stay. If you’re visiting Saranda and want a peaceful, clean, and beautifully run hotel right on the water, Hotel Visad is a dream.

Friendly family run hotel with amazing views and private beach

The hotel was located approx 3 kms from the Promenade. A real plus was having your own private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas at no cost. Our room had amazing ocean views. Situated close to many restaurants and cafes. Bus stop close by to Saranda if you do not want to walk and the other way to Ksamil and Butrint. Very friendly family run hotel. Breakfast was served on the deck and was sufficient to start your day. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Visad

Private beach and sun lounges, restaurant open for nice complimentary breakfast. ( wonderful fresh cakes) Great views, gorgeous sunsets, clean facility good bathroom. Friendly and accommodating staff.

The location was amazing. There was a beautiful private beach with sun beds free for hotel guests. Breakfast had a large variety of food. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. Lots of seating throughout the hotel. No loud music blasting...it was super peaceful. The room and bathroom were clean. They cleaned our room once during our 3-night stay. The staff was really nice.

The shower was a bit small, but that is the only thing we didn't like. This was our favorite hotel of all 8 places we stayed at during our road trip from Croatia to Greece.

Family-Run Hotel with Private Beach and Exceptional Hospitality

The owner, who is also the current manager, was always around and attentive to anything guests might need. – The hotel is very clean and offers all the essential services for a comfortable stay. – The absolute highlight is the private beach, where you can escape the more crowded areas of Ksamil and relax peacefully on a sun lounger in front of crystal-clear waters. – There are plenty of restaurants and mini-markets nearby to cover any need. – The rooms with terraces offer incredible views. – There’s also a bus stop right at the door that connects you to both Ksamil and Sarandë, making it easy to get around.

Lovely peaceful place to stay away from noises.

We liked the location of the hotel as it wasn’t in busy centre of Saranda but the same time not far to walk or drive. Also the fact that this hotel is small and there was not many people. Very peaceful place to stay. I wish I get the room with balcony to dry wet swimsuits, however the owner showed us the rack outside window for that. I think the owners are the star of this place. Without them it’s just hotel. Also proximity to very good restaurants and shops.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but some of the features of room could be improved like old air conditioning unit. The fact we paid for coffee €2.5 and next day different person took €3, but I should ask so … The breakfast choice could be different from time to time but not complaining.

Highly recommended!

The location was perfect, right by the ocean with a private beach. The view from our room was amazing. We were happy to be a little bit out of the centre, means less traffic and you can quickly get to surrounding beaches, castle and everywhere. Then quickly hop into the city for boardwalk and dinner. The owner, Ben was super friendly. We loved the place, will book again if we return.

Nice hotel, possibly a better experience when fully open.

Clean, comfy bed, nice decor, breakfast nicely set out, owner tried to be helpful, arranged for us to use sun beds at hotel next door, good location for sunset.

We arrived 13th May, work still being done for new season, replacing broken tiles and painting inside and outside the hotel, some noise/grinding, sun beds not out as shown in pictures, couldn’t open wardrobe door and drawers fully. Quite a steep walk up to the main road which may be challenging for some. Would have expected more for the price based on other hotels available for half the price.

Perfect stay for a relaxing time away from the crowds with good access to crystal clear sea

Although the location was at the quiet end of Sarande, this suited us. The hotel had everything we needed, was next to the beach and kept scrupulously clean. Amazing views from the balcony, especially on the last night when there was an electrical storm. Staff, Benile (?), extremely helpful

There wasn't a lot of choice at breakfast for vegetarians.

Highly recommended!

The staff is super nice and friendly, always with a smile on the face. The hotel is just a few steps from their private beach. You can actually have breakfast looking at the sea. Guests can use the umbrellas and sun-beds, which are exclusive for the hotel. The sunset from there is also amazing. Parking area is also good and with security camera. Rooms have a good size, the balcony with sea-view is just super cool and the beds are very comfy.

Run away

Has a seaside but smaller than photos

We paid in the first minute for a 2+1 person and seaview room and then We stayed in a room for 1+1 with parking lot view. No excuse no payback.

Waste of money

Overpriced and rude

First of all, the manager told us off about that we should not book on booking.com, but directly with him instead. Furthermore, they lock the hotel during the night, (without communicating this) so be prepare to be left stranded on the street. Management does not care at all. Considering the price, I am sure you can find better and more welcoming properties.

Clean, small hotel with some annoying mistakes

Small hotel in Saranda in very good location. They have their own beach, sunbeds and towels for free. The hotel is not in the overcrowded city center which is very positive. The room is comfortable, very good bed quality. Cleanliness everywhere. The hotel manager kindly and helpfull.

The breakfest is allways the same, not too delicious. Very boring for a week. Everything you have to pay cash - immediately, inclusive the rooms. The corridor is a bit smelly, no aircondition in common rooms. Evenings there is no warm water in bathroom - perhaps allways running out. By the way the shower-bath is too small for a normal person. It is needed some investment to hold the niveau - but this is their future question.

A nice hotel, right on the sea front. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and true to the description found online. What we loved most was the small beach in front of the hotel, which was very calm and had plenty of sunbeds for a relaxing time.

You cannot get closer to the sea than here

The hotel is right next to the sea with a private beach that cannot be topped. We were there at the beginning of May and seemed to be the only hotel guests, so got to enjoy the view, breakfast and surroundings all on our own.

The hotel is not the newest which can be seen in the interior and state of the bathroom. It is comfortable, although the room was quite small for three people. It was sufficient for the 3 nights we spent there during our roadtrip, but would not recommend for a vacation where one spends much time in the room.

Perfect place with amazing views

Amazing hotel!! Perfect in each detail. A perfect place to relax, easy walking distance to the city centre and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruits every morning. The owner and his son were super kind and helpful. By far one of the best places we could enjoy our holidays. We booked the double room with view and it was the perfect choice. Very, super clean. The room is with the best sea view you can get, good size balcony You have parking, the hotel is beachfront (private beach, 10m from the sea and the beach have own beds, very comftable, not croudy) If you like to beach front, this is super hotel. City center is 5min by car

beach hotel in a quiet area

Very good accommodation right on the beach with its own beach. Dear helpful staff, any questions we had, they helped us immediately! The spacious balcony rooms offer a wonderful view! We could see the sea from the bed! There is a small fridge in the room, we really appreciated it! The accommodation is always very clean, they clean it constantly! The air conditioner works well, although it is a bit old! Wifi works perfectly! The private beach is a huge advantage! The water is crystal clear, the sunbeds are comfortable! From the beach you can see the island of Corfu and we have to say, the sunsets are amazing! The owners have planted palm trees on the beach and cute land turtles walk among them! The accommodation is located in a quiet location, in one of the best locations. There are many great restaurants and supermarkets in the area! Everything for a pleasant holiday! Highly recommended!

The breakfast was not quite delicious . The meat dishes were very low budget and no one liked them at all. Fortunately, the vegetables, fruits, cheeses and cakes were excellent, but it's very boring to eat the same thing every day! It's really needed a toast maker for the bread at the breakfast! The selection would be much more varied and many people like it! We recommend owners to get one! By the way the bed and the furniture are quite old, they are all a bit creaky. I wouldn't call the place four stars, but with a little renovation it could be made so!

very comfortable location to enjoy the see and visit the Sarande surroundings

The hotel has a comfortable private beach and private parking these two facilities are fundamental in the high season not to be forced to move with the car in the chaotic streets of Sarande. Breakfast is good and can be consumed in a very beautiful yard in front to the see

they should improve the smoking / no-smoking rooms division, as very often in Albania smoking is allowed everywhere. the private parking is not big enough to contain all the cars in high season
