This is a beautiful hotel.. downside, they do not have air conditioning. This of course is not a continuing issue. I was initially given a room on the 3rd floor with a very small window opening and facing the sun all day. It was an older room and not very nice. I was relocated the following day to a beautiful room on the 2nd floor. It was so different, so comfortable. It annoyed me that they put a single elderly woman in the first room at all. The food was very good. So overall a good stay. I wondered was it because I booked with Agoda instead of their own website that I git the bad room initially

We had a beautiful stay at the Ballyscanlon Hotel, the accomadation is first class and the spa is fab.
We had dinner on sunday evening and the food was really lovely. Breakfast was also excellent.
Looking forward to our next trip here 😊❤️

Went here with my 2 daughters . Our room was very disappointing as it was a room that had a make shift 3rd bed that was stuck to the radiator. We paid a lot of money for the room. We asked to be changed but were told no triple rooms available in new part of hotel? Other than that the saving grace was the foot soldiers who were lovely. When I told at reception it was my birthday the receptionist wished me happy birthday and that was that. Not a complementary drink or such like which I thought was bad form. Any ways we won't be back . We also had a lot of luggage and had to bring to room ourselves. 4 star
I dont think so. Nice surrounding. That about it.
