Lovely stay in a great hotel 😃

Very disappointing - under the circumstances, I would not plan to return.
We liked the room we were transferred to on our second day. It had a good view as opposed to the first one which had an outlook over the leisure centre roofs. The ladies who served breakfast were a joy, especially Natalia, who was amazing. The rooms had been recently renovated.
The view from our first room which looked over the leisure centre roofs. We had booked a superior room and I was very disappointed with the first room we were allocated. I also couldn't believe that a spa hotel does not supply robes, which meant using the communal facilities to shower and dry before dressing and returning to the room. Most unacceptable! I have never stayed in a spa hotel where robes were not available. I also had an issue with the televisions showing noisy football. If they insist on showing it, the sound should be muted. I felt that it was unacceptable in the bar of a 4 star hotel. It is not a sports bar. Service was also extremely slow even though the bar was not particularly busy. We actually watched the barman cleaning shelves, rather than keeping watch for new customers.

The entrance into the property was lovely. Breakfast was good with good service.
Staff in the restaurant were unhelpful and unfriendly. Pool was a big disappointment. There was green mildew in the pool dirty glass with spiders.

The hotel is easy to access, car parking OK. Comfortable and warm on a cold winters day. Relaxing and pleasant stay.

Toilet was not clean, were told we could eat only at 6pm in the bar as was booked out for the evening yet several tables were left empty
