An eventful stopover

We arrived at dusk to find reception closed on Wednesdays. The lift was out of order and the technicians were packing up until the next day. We moved into our flat but had difficulty finding where to put our card to get electricity until a helpful neighbour came to our aid (a photo of the wall with the slot highlighted would be useful). The apartment itself was nice - a good main bathroom, a spacious living room with a good kitchen area, and a nice sized bedroom with an en-suite (though, unfortunately the shower unit fell off the wall when we turned it on!) In terms of location, this place was very good - the beach was at the end of the street, sandy at the top and black shingle at the bottom, and the water was warm, even in late October. Shops and a bar were within walking distance.

1. I booked 2 bedrooms apartment, the property had only one bedroom apartment available. They also refused to make refund for the difference between one bedroom and two bedrooms,. 2 , we had two apartments , both apartments had no hot water, I send messages but not reply,

Sommerverlängerung an einem altbekannten Ort in einer zentralen Unterkunft fast am Strand

Das Non-Plus-Ultra an dieser Unterkunft ist die Aussicht, die sowohl Meerseitig als auch Strassenseitig umwerfend ist. Wir hatten ein Appartement an der Strassenseite und sahen auf dem Balkon sowohl das Meer als auch Diano Castello auf dem Hügel. Im Oktober taucht die Sonne am Morgen aus dem Meer auf und verschwindet hinter den Hügeln. Zweites war von unserem Balkon aus gut zu sehen. Das Appartement ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und ermöglicht auch eine Mahlzeit "zuhause". Der Check-in und -out waren unkompliziert und die verschiedenen Strände (der Nächste ist rund 150 Meter entfernt) von Diano Marina und St. Bartolomeo sind fussläufig erreichbar. Gleiches gilt auch für die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und selbst das Zentrum von Diano Marina kann zu Fuss in rund 15 Minuten erreicht werden.

Die Haushaltsgegenstände erfüllen das absolute Minimum. Wir hätten gerne noch Weingläser gehabt, doch wurden diese auch auf Nachfrage nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Boilerinhalt ist etwas knapp für drei Personen und auch wurde das Appartement während 10 Tagen kein einziges Mal gereinigt.

Super Lage und tolle Ausstattung. Viel Platz! Super schöne Balkone mit Blick aufs Meer.

Barrierefreier Zugang zum Wasser. Wasserkocher und Toaster haben gefehlt.

La résidence se trouve vraiment a deux pas de la plage, c'est le principal avantage de choisir la résidence. le tout aurait besoin d'un rafraichissement, l'ensemble est veillot. Par contre, Snack/restaurant à la plage très agréable, accueil au top

Bellissimo appartamento bilocale con balcone vista mare. Letti molto comodi, cucina super attrezzata, bagno ampio. Parcheggio privato a 500 metri. La spiaggia si trova a 100 metri. Veramente tutto molto comodo per una bella vacanza

Merci pour ce beau séjour sympathique.

L’emplacement était idéal, proche de la mer et du centre-ville. L’appartement était correct. Le personnel était à l’écoute et disponible.

Le manque d’insonorisation car on entend un peu trop ce qui se passe dehors et chez les voisins.

Grossartige Lage für Strandferien, wir würden unser 'Appartment mit Meerblick' sofort wieder nehmen.

Wir hatten ein Appartment im 4. Stock in Richtung Meer, das war grossartig und super ruhig mit Panoramablick und Meeresrauschen (Zimmer in andere Richtungen u/o tiefer sind hier sicher im Nachteil). Das Personal sehr freundlich und alles sehr sauber. Einrichtung und Ausstattung im Appartment etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ok und zweckmässig. Die für Gäste frei zugängliche Terasse im 5. Stockwerk ist sensationell mit 360° Panoramablick, Liegestühlen und extra WCs. Die Lage für sorglose Standferien ist ebenfalls grossartig, nach 50m ist man am Strand. Der Strand selbst ist gut mit 'weichem' Kies. Für Sandstrand muss man einige hundert Meter laufen, das wollten wir nicht. Zum Einkaufen ist ein Minimarkt gleich um die Ecke und ein grosser PAM 400m entfernt.

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Ausstattung, Lift etc.) aber ok und die nahe Hauptstrasse ist für manche Appartments sicher hörbar. Der Fussweg an die östliche Promenade etwas mühsam an der Hauptstrasse entlang (westlich Richtung Innenstadt besser).

Lo staff molto gentile, sempre disponibile.Struttura pulita con una bella posizione 5 minuti dalle spiagge sia private che libere in una zona molto tranquilla. È stata una bella esperienza che sicuramente rifaremo anno prossimo.

La posizione, la pulizia! Accurata e comodissima, forse il parcheggio un po’ lontano, ma nella via dopo si trova facilmente senza andare in quello dell hotel.e vicino c’è una spiaggia per cani troppo carina libera! Consiglio

Dopo neanche una notte dal nostro arrivo l ascensore si è rotto.. e niente anzi che aggiustarlo in giornata, ci siamo fatti gli altri giorni a 3 piani a piedi alla volta. i cuscini e il materasso però sono stati TERRIBILI, peccato! Non mi è ancora andato via il torcicollo.. ho dovuto dormire con degli asciugamani arrotolati

Pet friendly is better

Appartamento ben attrezzato. Noi abbiamo soggiornato al piano terra con la possibilità anche di un piccolo terrazzino. Posto auto davanti all’entrata!! Non me lo aspettavo. Praticamente sulla spiaggia (2 minuti a piedi). Noi abbiamo portato i nostri due “bimbi” a quattro zampe e per la prima volta mi sono sentita accolta senza discriminazioni, come spesso accade e chi ha un pet lo sa!! Adriana che ci ha accolto è una persona gentile e sensibile e la sua disponibilità mi ha davvero emozionato. La spiaggia libera con accesso ai cani è a due minuti dalla struttura. Meglio non potevamo desiderare. Grazie Adriana e grazie Diano per questa vacanza fuori programma che abbiamo goduto appieno. Torneremo sicuramente.
