It’s a great place but pre sort breakfast deal of is an expensive stay compared.

Location was great, staff wonderful

Breakfast not included and €19 for what you could call very basic for that cost.

Very clean. Nice, spacious rooms. Good underground parking for a small extra fee. Quiet location but only three minutes walk to the town centre and the tram line into Köln. Recommend the Stadt-Café Kremer on the way to the tram.

Rooms were marked non-smoking but corridor and room smelt of cigarette smoke. This is not acceptable.

The perfect stay

We arrived late so the reception was closed. However, we were sent excellent instructions on how to get the key to our room. We were on a motorbike so were pleased there was an excellent secure garage available. The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was superb with a good choice of continental food.

There was nothing not to like. A perfect stay.

Room nr. 202 is just awefull! 2 very small hard wooden beds. I think the bed in a prison is even more comfortable. The blue light from the TV is shining just right into your face when laying in bed. feels like someone shines with a laser in your eyes. This room more looked like a prison-cell than an hotelroom.

Simple hotel, nice food, lovely staff.

Staff were all friendly, we had dinner on the night of arrival which was very tasty. Breakfast choice was plentiful and the fresh fruit salad was indeed freshly sliced and diced. The choice of beverages and cold cuts was good too.

The only thing I would say was a shame, was that the breakfast table (on the terrasse) should have been cleaned beforehand allowing guests to take a seat. As all the tables had been cleared the area looked and felt extremely impersonal and lacklustre. The room was spacious enough for a short stay but was uncomfortably hot - however, that is due to the fact that the weather was exceedingly warm and humid. Nonetheless, a ventilator would have been a very welcome addition to the room. The bathroom is a little antiquated. #105

Immer wieder gern

Die Lage dieses Hotels war fantastisch. Kurzer Weg zur Innenstadt und zur Straßenbahn, die wir für eine Fahrt nach Köln zum Weihnachtsmarkt genutzt haben. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht. Nett eingerichtet und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Direkt vor dem Eingang konnten wir in die Tiefgarage fahren. Das Restaurant Schützenhaus befindet sich im Hotel und hat eine sehr gute Küche und ebenfalls sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr aufwendige und schöne Weihnachtsdeko. Wir waren 2 Nächte im Hotel und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Dusche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es werden nach und nach alle Zimmer renoviert.

Gezellig en charmant

Leuke kamer. Proper, zorgzaam ingericht. Praktisch. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Heerlijke douche. Lekker warm op de badkamer. Op wandelafstand van de tramhalte. Top! Vlot naar Keulen kerstmarkt. Ontbijt erg lekker en volop genoeg keuze. Gezellig en charmant. Mooi gebouw. Ondergrondse parkeergarage!

Wanneer gasten 's avonds laat toekomen en blijven babbelen in de inkomhal galmt het erg luid door naar de verdiepingen waar mensen al slapen. Ook in de gangen naar de kamers wordt er niet altijd rekening gehouden hiermee. Men kan hier aangeven dat de bezoekers vanaf 22:00u in stilte, met het nodige respect voor de andere hotelgasten zich naar hun kamers horen te begeven. Dan wordt slaap, voor diegenen die het nodig hebben, niet meermaals onder-broken.

Eine Renovierung wäre sehr sinnvoll. Leider war es sehr laut da eine Veranstaltung an dem Wochenende in dem Haus stattge

Das Bad hatte eine Badewanne die Duschtür wurde entfernt somit war kein duschen möglich. Die Fliesen waren zum Teil beschädigt und Schimmel in den Fugen. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfallslos und wurde nicht neu aufgefüllt. Wer zu spät kam hatte somit wenig Auswahl. Für den Preis hätte man woanders besseres Frühstück bekommen.

Wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Hotel Frechener Hof ist ein sehr schönes Geräumiges Gebäude, im urigen Stil gehalten wirkt es märchenhaft und gemütlich. Der kontaktlose Check in war einfach zu verstehen und die Möglichkeit zu parken war auch gut in der Tiefgarage. Da Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe und Ausstattung und es war sauber. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen wenn wir in Frechen zu Besuch wären.

Der Preis war ohne Frühstück nicht so günstig…..

Hotel soweit ok

Die Lage war gut.

Die Rezeption war am Abend nicht mehr besetzt, so musste ich nach dem Zimmerschlüssel suchen, da ich die e-mail nicht bekommen hatte. Das Frühstück war sehr bescheiden.
