Spacious room, play room for kids
It was a disappointment. I’ve stayed at many-many hotels, including spa hotels in the Alps, and this was the most expensive (just under 400 euro per night) and the worst value for the money we paid.
First of all, the pictures are very misleading. It looks like the hotel is right on the lake, but it’s not. Only the smaller building is, the main building with the spa is a walk away from the lake, by a road, and doesn’t have much of a view. This is just unethical. We chose this hotel among many in Tirol just for the lake view.
The spa was subpar - small, only a small sauna and steam room (for families), no whirlpool, no kids pool, no view… They didn’t have slippers - we had to walk to and around the spa in sneakers.
The breakfast was average at best - not that many options to choose from and didn’t seem like the best quality either.
There was no minibar or refreshments, like water or tea kettle/coffee machine in the room.
