Lovey place, great way to experience the local hospitality!

Really nice cosy bigger than average room, nice beds, lovely balcony with a view of the vineyards and very clean. Lovely restaurant, it is part of the place, we loved the whole experience! The place has a lot of character!

It was a very hot day and therefore difficult to sleep in an attic room. Some of the hallways have that old home smell.

Amazing location, beautiful grounds and the decor of each room was unique and well appointed Also dinner on the patio was excellent and staff was very friendly and attentive.

Very simple, but nice breakfast area and food. Quite room, even if it was in front of the main village street

It was a spacious room to host the 2 parents, but with a too small separate room to accommodate the 2 kids. This cannot worth the price of 200 euros per night, as it sounds extremely expensive for what it is.

Comfortable stay with excellent meals in the evenings and a good breakfast.

The restaurant here is extremely good, with super food served in really attractive traditional style rooms. We had dinner on both evenings and the staff were all attentive and paced the meals perfectly. The chef (owner?) came round to speak with everyone at their tables in the evening and we really liked this contact and interest. Our room was in the separate building back from the road so quiet with a large balcony and pleasant views towards the vineyards and other parts of the village. Having the fridge in the room to keep our water cold was good. Nice location from which to enjoy walks in the Glottertal valley.

Super friendly staff. V helpful and welcoming. Restaurant was closed but they booked us a table across the road. Breakfast was great. Room and bathroom exceptionally clean and comfy.

Not as anticipated having stayed there previously.

Location of hotel but when we arrived it was all closed and we found it very difficult to get access. Luckily we found two very helpful German women who went to find staff, who then came and let us in.

Very disappointed after a long 10 hour drive to find the restaurant was not open and there were no facilities to have some tea/coffee. No air conditioning in room when it was very hot meant we had to open windows, and the traffic noise was initially disturbing. Breakfast was basic and no fresh bread, which was disappointing. We stayed in this hotel two years previously but in the annexe which was fabulous and breakfast was very good. Not sure if new owners or just different staff but was very disappointed on this visit.

The hotel has a fantastic traditional gothic style. The breakfast was amazing.

We could not use the public transport directly from the hotel but we had to drive for five minutes. Not a big problem of course with that....

This is a beautiful hotel. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The room was spacious, clean and the view was gorgeous. A lovely hotel with a little town full of a lot of history.

Praktisch und gut

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und das Nachbarhaus, in dem unser Zimmer gelegen war, war ruhig und angenehm großzügig. Die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Inneneinrichtung war sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend vielfältig und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Leider gab es nur ein Kopfkissen und eine relativ dünne und kleine Decke.

Typisches Schwarzwaldhotel / Gasthof für 1 - 3 Tagen im Glottertal mit sehr gutes Küche

Ds Hotel hatte für uns eine Super Lage, da die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus war. Wir sind mit der Bahn / Bus angereist. Dass Abendessen im Restaurant ist sehr gut, auch das Frühstück ist von sehr guter Qualität . Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Die Zimmer und der Duschbereich sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist sehr sauber, aber der Duschbereich entspricht nicht mehr heutigen Standardbeispiel bei diesem Zimmerpreis. Bei einem so großen Comfortzimmer hätten wir uns ein Bett größer 1,60 für 2 Personen gewünscht. Betten selbst waren gut. Alles keine großen Punkte für einen Aufenthalt von 1 bis 2 Tagen

Das war nix!

Das Personal richtig freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Und hoffentlich bekommen sie keinen Stundenlohn sondern Kilometergeld. Abendessen ist wirklich gut, gibt es nichts dran auszusetzen. Zimmer war sauber.

Der Kaffeevollautomat zum Frühstück eine Katastrophe, die beiden Damen morgens sind leider stets und ständig damit beschäftigt Wasser, Milch usw. nachzufüllen und die Schlange der wartenden Gäste wird länger und länger. Gebucht haben wir ein Zimmer im Hotel Adler, wurden aber in der Pension Faller untergebracht. Morgens eine Qual, bei klirrender Kälte erst einmal über den Hinterhof zu müssen um frühstücken zu können. Man bezahlt ein Hotel und landet in einer Pension, geht gar nicht. Das Frühstücksbufett sehr spartanisch und wenn etwas alle ist, was sehr schnell geht, kommt das Personal mit einem kleinen Tellerchen und verteilt dann vier Scheibchen Käse auf einer ganzen Platte und so verhält es sich mit der Wurst, den Rühereiern, dem Frühstücksspeck, in einem kleinen Pfännchen liegen vier bis fünf Weintrauben (kein Witz) die der Gast sich nehmen kann usw. usw. Hier wird auf Kosten der Gäste am falschen Ende gespart. Wir können dieses Hotel, was für uns eine Pension war, da wir dort untergebracht wurden, nicht empfehlen!!! Ebenfalls nicht unerwähnt möchten wir lassen, dass in unserem Bad, dass Handwaschbecken so klein war, dass wir beim waschen unser Bad unweigerlich unter Wasser gesetzt haben.

Beim 2. Aufenthalt für 3 Nächte im Dezember in der 1. Nacht zu kalt.

Hôtel de charme typique Forêt Noire

Établissement typiquement Forêt Noir, très chaleureux, décoration de Noël avec sapin. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le restaurant est excellent, nous avons fait un vrai festin de Noël. Le personnel est adorable. Tout a été parfait.

Tolles Gasthaus mit hauseigenem Parkplatz und wunderbarer, uriger Wirtsstuben. Phantastisches Frühstücksbuffet !!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Freundlich und mit guter Küche!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und gut. Wir haben sehr gut zu Abend gegessen.

Unser Zimmer war nicht im Haupthaus, sondern nebenan in einer Pension. Das Zimmer war schon in die Jahre gekommen und mit Teppich ausgestattet, was für eine Reise mit Hund nicht ideal ist.

Super pour la deuxième année

Le petit déjeuner en libre service est super avec un personnel adorable et très serviable. Globalement la gentillesse de tout le personnel toujours à l'écoute. Ainsi qu'un grand merci aux propriétaires (la famille Cordier) pour le tenue de cet établissement. Je recommande aussi le restaurant pour le repas du soir c'est fameux et copieux. Je n'est jamais été déçu une seule fois pendant les trois semaines que j'y ai passé.

Im Glottertal führt die Straße natürlich an den Hotels direkt vorbei. Wir kommen und arbeiten im Ruhrgebiet also kein Problem

Unbedingt einkehren und hervorragendes Frühstück geniessen

Sehr freundliches und flexibles Personal. Erstklassiges frisches, leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Der geräucherte Schinken, Rührei sowie Früchtesalat war besonders lecker. Grosses Lob. Gaststättenräumlichkeiten gemütlich und einladen gestaltet (selbst leider nur Frühstück eingenommen). Ich war mit dem Rad unterwegs, gute Wahl da einzukehren und die Umgebung zu erkunden

Prima tussenstop.

Personeel was erg gastvrij en hielp ons goed terwijl we erg laat kwamen inchecken. Het ontbijt was prima; de broodjes waren vers en alles werd steeds aangevuld. Alles was schoon.

De sfeer in het hotel en de kamers was -voor onze smaak- erg oubollig en daardoor ongemakkelijk.
