Panoramic position between Casentino and Valtiberina Valleys. La Casina del Bosco is placed in an extremely panoramic position in the green and beautiful Alpe di Catenaia, not far from the mountain pass that connects the two valleys of Casentino and Valtiberina. From the house you can glimpse a splendid view on luxuriant woods of ancient oaks and chestnut trees, and on the nearby city of Arezzo, which make the place pleasantly quiet and almost enchanted. The house is reachable via a small unmade road (about 2 km ) not advisable for sportive cars. Approx. 8 km far we find Subbiano, active, nice village endowed with supermarkets, typical restaurants and shops, which birth can be dated back to the Roman age. Pool amongst olives, Jacuzzi and house equipment. The small holiday house, restored with the ancient, local stone, has old origins, and was in fact used by shepherds as a place of rest during the transhumance passage. At clients disposal, a panoramic swimming pool (size m. 6 x 2,70, depth m. 1,30 - open from 01st May to 30th September) placed among silver olive groves, a nice (heated) hydro massage bath for 5 persons (on payment), a pergola equipped with table and chairs to eat outside, a barbecue and garden furniture. The external space around the house (about 1200 m2) is completely fenced and small size pets are accepted. Furnishing and decoration, with original antiques, fits perfectly in with the house features. Ideal for couples looking for a quiet and romantic holiday.

Welcome to a small paradise! Far from the city noise, far from the roads noise, far feom neighbors, you will spend a wonderful time in a charming small stony house in a big and beautiful garden containing trees and flowers, swiming pool and spa, birds and cicadas.
The owner is very nice. The very old tiny house (2 people max) is well arranged. We had 2 weeks of very relaxing and restful time, very efficient to evacuate the work stress. Many pathes around for hiking and Mountainbiking.
People of the region are very welcoming. I would have liked stay much more longer...
30min to Arezzo, 1H30 to Siena and Firenze.
The only drawback is a chaotic path of 750m to reach the house. Of course it eliminates any car traffic, but at the same time without a 4x4 car, it limits the number of drives to limit the car stress.
In summary, I anyway strongly recommand this house for people who want to mainly relax. Small but well refreshing swimmingpool, very relaxing SPA, grill, beautiful landscape, warm temperature and blue sky... unespected dream.

Casina simpatica nel bel mezzo di un bosco. La strada di accesso, completamente sterrata, non è particolarmente agevole ed è giusto esserne consapevoli prima di prenotare. La proprietà è in posizione assolutamente isolata dalla quale si gode una splendida vista sulla vallata e sulla città di Arezzo..
L'interno è dotato di tutti i comfort e servizi descritti nell'annuncio.
Pulizia buona.
Il proprietario è una persona molto gentile e pronta ad aiutare in caso di piccole emergenze e/o problemi.

Super toller Urlaub im Juni 2020!!völlige Abgeschiedenheit....sehr schlechter Zufahrtsweg!!! Gott sei Dank hatten wir einen VW Bus. Das Haus ist voll süß, aber der Besitzer muss dringend Hand anlegen!!!! Viele Kleinigkeiten trübten etwas das Wohlbefinden. Das Tor schließt sehr schwer, der neue Geschirrspüler muss stark zugeschlagen werden das er geht, Das Duschwasser ist sehr wenig, die Stühle eine Zumutung....wir haben neue gekauft, keine Außenbeleuchtung, der Pool ist sehr unschön verarbeitet, nicht am Bild zu sehen, Das Bett o Gott o Gott...schlafen ist dort nur mit viel Alkohol möglich es quietscht brutal....Liebe geht nur außerhalb......der italienische sehr nette Besitzer muss unbedingt mal investieren!!!!…..aber wenn das alles gemacht ist würden wir sofort wiederkommen....unglaubliche Ruhe und Aussicht....gaaaanz toll.....hoffe wir haben Euch geholfen
