Our accommodations were wonderful! Being right off the beautiful ocean and convenient, shopping and dining opportunities, this made for a fabulous day. The host were amazing and met us at the site. They were very accommodating and quite lovely, making sure that we were comfortable and knew what was available in the area. we would love to come again and we’ll definitely seek out this day first.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Alexandra and Antonio’s apartment at Praia da Barra. Alexandra was an amazing host, super easy to communicate with, shared many recommendations for local food and activities, and made herself available for any questions we had about the area. She actually picked us up from the train station, gave us a tour of Aveiro, transported us to the beach where she checked us into the apartment and gave us a tour of the apartment and the beaches! The location of the apartment was perfect: by the lighthouse, restaurants, and plenty of beach access. The boardwalk begins just outside the apartment and offered a splendid 4 mile walk each morning! The apartment itself was also perfect for our group of 6. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including beach towels and sand toys! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking, and even had some basic cooking supplies: oils, seasonings. We had a great vacation here!!
