Welcome to Blue Hues, a secluded beachfront retreat in beautiful Old Hooper's Bay, Great Exuma.
Set on more than an acre of lush tropical gardens and native stonework within a private 30 acre community with only seven homes, Blue Hues combines the privacy of a peaceful island hideaway with a convenient central location. Step from your private pool and expansive outdoor living areas to a rarely occupied stretch of calm turquoise water—perfect for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing with family and friends.
THE MAIN HOUSE
The beautifully furnished main house features 3 bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms, comfortably accommodating 6 adults, with an additional queen cabinet bed suitable for 2 small children.
Large windows and outdoor living spaces showcase spectacular turquoise-water views, while the spacious pool deck and patio provide plenty of room for everyone to relax.
OPTIONAL PRIVATE GUEST HOUSE
Need additional space?
Our separate guest house offers:
• Queen bedroom
• Full bathroom
• Living room
• Full kitchen
• Accommodations for 2 adults
The guest house is available for $190 per night plus a $50 cleaning fee and must be requested before booking.
Most importantly: the guest house is NEVER rented separately to another group. Whether or not you add it to your reservation, you will never share the property with other renters.

Blue Hues is located within the secluded Old Hooper's Bay community, tucked away from the main road with no public road access to the beach and our community.
Enjoy calm, protected water just steps from the house, a wonderful offshore reef for snorkeling, and more than 180 degrees of beautiful turquoise-water views.
Spend the morning on the beach, the afternoon beside your private pool, and the evening enjoying the island breeze from the patio.
COMFORT & CONNECTIVITY
Both the main house and guest house are equipped with automatic whole-house generators, providing added comfort and peace of mind during island power interruptions.
Our Wi-Fi network provides strong coverage throughout the property—including the beach—and Starlink connectivity makes streaming easy.

This is our second time staying at Blu Hues for two weeks and it is paradise. The house is wonderful, the pool perfect and the "private beach" is the best. Rick is the perfect host who provides the best island information and communicates everything you need to travel to Exuma. We look forward to our next visit !

Spectacular - like Fantasy Island! Blue Hues was an impeccable rental, well appointed, very clean, completely updated, and breathtakingly lovely! If I could go beyond five stars, I would, - we loved this location and home so much!We were a party of eight (3 adults, 5 teenagers) and rented the main house and the guest house - the guest house is an absolute gem and well worth it!The house is centrally located on the island, a short drive north to excursions and a short drive south to Georgetown and other excursions. Grocery stores, liquor, store, stores, pizza and ice cream are all nearby. This house is fantastic seclusion with the ability to get to anything fairly quickly!The views were fantastic all day, every day! The outdoor shower, hammock, and grill were used regularly. They have floats for the pool, lifejackets, masks/fins, kayaks - basically anything you might need! The beach was secluded, and you could lounge in the pool and take in the beautiful vista if you wanted to escape from the salt water! The owners are fantastic communicators, incredibly helpful, and do everything to make certain that your stay is outstanding. I cannot stress us enough, you should definitely rent here! We will be back!

11/10. Absolutely breathtaking piece of property, and the house is immaculate! Clean, comfortable, stunning! Hummingbirds, tree frogs, and peacocks to watch. We will be returning! Rick and Jodi were fabulous hosts, easily reached anytime we had a question. Can’t beat the location, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. I have never stayed at a more well equipped rental home, you truly don’t need to bring anything with you (with the exception of lots and lots of snacks if you’ve got kids with you! Island prices are high)
