The Stella del Nord Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic center of the mountain village of Sant'Elena Sannita (in the province of Isernia). The village is known for being the country of perfume and the country of origin of the grinders. It is located about fifteen kilometers from the famous ski fields of Campitello Matese and a few kilometers from Frosolone (the country of knives), Bojano (the country of mozzarella), Roccamandolfi (the country of brigands) and other beautiful places, hermitages, places for climbing and trekking.
The Stella del Nord Bed & Breakfast is recommended for an unforgettable stay in a building in the historic center overlooking a beautiful valley facing east. Ideal for those who want to discover the authentic Molise, as a starting point for skiing, to visit the most beautiful places in Molise (including Agnone, Carovilli, Isernia, Campobasso, Schiavi d'Abruzzo), archaeological sites, trekking, climbing , horseback riding, rafting, for those who want to visit sacred places such as shrines, churches, hermitages, for those who love gastronomic tourism.
The Luna Room is located on the first floor of the twentieth century Palazzo Fanny. To reach the landing, just 12 low steps (6 + 6) of an original lava stone staircase must be climbed, which allows an easy ascent to the floor even with luggage. The building, being of Epoca, does not have an elevator; therefore it is not a B & B recommended for those with motor disability problems.
The Luna Room has 1 double bed and 1 window with a view of the square.
The ceiling of the room is small, which gives a touch of romance and is very welcoming. The room is cool in summer and warm in winter thanks to the exterior stone walls about a meter thick!
The bathroom, for the exclusive use of guests of the B & B, is adjacent to the Sun Room and the Moon Room; is complete with shower, bidet, sink, toilet, cabinet, first aid kit, liquid soap for personal hygiene.
Breakfast is served in the Taverna (on the ground floor) or in the beautiful season on the veranda from which you access the garden on 2 levels via a stone staircase, where, in addition to a small vegetable garden, there are fig trees, almonds, plums and flower beds. The garden allows you to spend pleasant time relaxing in the sun or reading a good book.
