A spacious house on the outskirts of Tuglie (but walking distance to its center) : because of that it is quite place with a place to park the car just at the front of the house. No noisy neighbors, even no moto bikers to be heard. Be advised that the plan of the house is different form that we are used in Northern Europe, starting from the kitchen with a dining room being a level down main living room. A thing to used to live with. We have stayed there for 3 weeks, we have a good memories form this place. Michel is a good host.
Usual things in Italy : there is no electric kettle for boiling water, the plugs are of Italian fashion, seems to be Europeans standard but not for plugs needing more ampers, as the light switches, compacted four switches in one piece so you do have to play with them to memorize which one serves for which light.

The place is very clean and has everything you need, with a well-equipped kitchen. The host is lovely and easily available - very happy to help any time. The terrace is also lovely in the sun. It made a great base to discover more of Salento (you need a car) and work from home. The Wifi was good enough to work, with minor connection issues every now and then. The location is great to walk around Tuglie and some local countryside walks.
Some noise in the neighbourhood with kids during the day and dogs at night (out of the host's control), so I would just recommend earplugs if you're a light or early sleeper. You will definitely need a car if you want to see other places.
