Fantastic stay! Super clean, comfortable and in a safe area. Everything in Málaga is just a short walk away, including some of the best bars. Highly recommended!

Modern apartment in the very heart of Malaga old town

The apartment is right in the city centre and it is modern and well equipped. There are two full bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs on the mezzanine. The kitchen is spacious and has all you need (apart from the dishwasher). The apartment can comfortably sleep 6 people - two in the downstairs bedroom, two on the convertible sofa in the living room and two in the mezzanine (there are two single beds). There are no keys to the apartment, you open and lock the doors with the code which is very practical. The managing company is very easily reachable and responsive. Overall, a very good apartment for our two weeks stay!

The elevator didnt work for full two weeks, we informed the managing company and were told the mechanic needed to come - and that was basically it. Not great as we needed to carry the stroller up and down every day. Also, be mindful that the apartment only has windows opening to the courtyard, so it is not very light and has zero views. You also hear people on the staircase very clearly - but it gets better when you close the blinds (which get stuck when being lowered, but work with some manual intervention).

Six nights in Malaga

The location was perfect, and the apartment was very well equipped.

The curtains in the bedroom and living area were made of voile, and at night with the lights on, you could see straight through them, both inside and outside.

A complete waste of money and time. We missed out on a tour because of the time spent problem solving.

Location

Broken washing machine. Sand on our soggy clothes. Broken blinds; needed towels over the windows for privacy . Uncomfortable couch bed. Absolutely terrible stay that makes me reconsider using apartments. Terrible AI generated responses, mostly nonsense, gibberish. Staff answered occasional questions politely but questions were filtered throughAI and were answered slowly.

Disappointing, infested, gross.

This was hands down the worst Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The place was filthy and infested. The mattress was so dusty it triggered nonstop coughing fits at night, and the bed itself wasn’t even clean, it had hairs in it. The cups, plates, and cutlery were dirty as well. To make matters worse, the apartment had tiny roach-like bugs crawling around. The host clearly knew about this problem, because I found bug traps hidden under the sofa, and even a dirty towel shoved under the door, clearly to stop the bugs from coming inside. We tried to escape the filthy mattress by pulling out the sofa bed, but that only unleashed even more dust into the air. Sleeping on it was torture, it felt like lying on sharp metal blades all night. On top of that, the apartment has no real windows, only ones facing a dusty corridor, so there was no way to ventilate the place. Basic necessities weren’t even provided properly. There was no fresh toilet paper, only a mix of half-used rolls from different brands clearly left behind by previous guests. There was little to no body wash or soap either. For the price, this was completely unacceptable. Adding insult to injury, they charge a £50 “cleaning fee” (despite clearly not cleaning), and yet they still expect guests to wash the dishes and carry the bins out to a mapped drop-off point. By day two, I had developed a fever from my dust allergy, and my entire holiday, one I had waited six years for, was ruined. For the price we paid, this was an absolute nightmare. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

A wrong choice for us

Location is good. The apartment doesn’t fits for 4 persons ( 2 adults and 2 children) because the sofa was in a terrible state, impossible to sleep on. It creaked with every movement, the mattress was max 8 cm thick and was worn out, you could feel every metal frame of the sofa. The bed from the bedroom was ok. The apartment doesn’t look so “fresh” like in the pictures, it is outdated. The apartment it is not soundproof at all, we could here the phone ringing in the next apartment. Each night our sleep was fractioned by the other guests coming from partying.

Good location and clean apartment.

It was super centric and spacious.

The fact that when we tried the code it didn’t work and didn’t have bed sheets and towels for 2 people (we were a group of 4). Their customer service were super nice and they asked us if we wanted the missing bed sheet for that day but we declined as we arrived at 1am due to plane delay and had to wait 1 hour.

Clean spacious quiet cool and had everything needed nice efficient staff and 🏢 nearby.

I couldn't get the Beko stove to work at first. Needed instructions as it's not obvious if you've never used one before.

Malaga day dreams

We had a fantastic stay at Livingformalaga. The apartment was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and in an unbeatable location—just seconds from great bars and restaurants, yet totally peaceful and quiet inside. It was incredibly easy to access, and the staff were always available and helpful with any questions we had. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back. And if you're staying here, don’t miss El Mesón de Cervantes just around the corner—it’s a must!

there were cockroaches and the apartment is a converted office space and the bathroom has a downslope floor towards the door which doesnt make sense. Also the only windows in the apartment are towards and interior patio

Lovely peaceful and clean apartment in fantastic central location.

Checked in after 9pm but was sent code for door and easy instructions to access apartment. Lovely spacious apartment. Inner apartment from street therefore no noise at all. Peaceful quiet sleep, comfortable bed. Nice shower. and plenty towels. Great location for centre of town.

Perhaps a bottle or 2 of water in fridge on arrival as we arrived late and did not have any. Maybe some tea bags too would have been good. Apart from that, all very good.

Disappointing

The apartment was not bad but too many problems - see below.

The hosts were extremely unwilling to help with any request. I tried to cancel the last night out of four nights several days before, they did not agree. I left one day early without refund. I was living literally in the middle of construction site, was impossible to reach the apartment by taxi due to the construction in the whole area and very difficult to walk with a suitcase on shaky wooden little bridges over the holes. Hosts refused to help with carrying the luggage to a location from which Uber or taxi could pick me up. It was super noisy at night, due not only parties but also loud fights. There was no coffee machine, not a bottle of water for courtesy, iron board was old and broken. There was no washing machine. It was very expensive for nothing and I don't know why they would charge150 Euros for it - there was nothing there.

Almost everything was nice: te location, the apartment, the facilities

We had bad luck with the neighbors. Once we woke up at 4 and 5 am because people were yelling inside the building, on the ground floor.

I love Malaga and I always will.

Nice little flat,the double bed was not the most comfortable bed,but my friend found the sofa bed outstandingly comfortable. The flat was quite dark,which can be great in the summer,because of the heat,but quite depressing in the winter. More small lamps would nice. But very clean indeed. A couple of mugs would have been nice and a teapot also.

We found the way we were given the key codes on a little paper not very insufficient. The gate code was not complicated,but the tiny little keypad on the door knob was far too fiddly. A key would have been much better. The lighting in the hall way was not very bright and that did not help.

We got an apartment not that we saw on photo Booking. Messy and weightless. The elevator is very slow. Table of diner was awful and damaged. Then we wrote on email of company they didn't reacted. Only when we wrote on booking was responded to us.

I was originally given a ground floor room in a separate building to reception. I wasn’t impressed with the dirty walls and foisty smell. I rang reception who moved me at no extra cost without question to delightful apartment.
