Detached fisherman's cottage in a fantastic position overlooking the reedbeds, bird sanctuary and beaches of Cley and Salthouse. Renovated throughout, with 5 bedrooms, kitchen / dining room, large comfy sitting room, TV room /conservatory and walled private gardens. Just four minutes walk to the village green, Dun Cow pub and famous Cookie's seafood restaurant.

We stayed in Creek Cottage with our family foe a birthday celebration. The layout worked well for a group of 7 adults, with one room unused. The walks from the cottage are endless and the cottage provided a cool retreat from the hottest weather ever.

Fantastic Cottage, would recommend staying to anybody. Lovely quiet location in an idyllic setting and small village with a local pub. It was the perfect space for us as a family and a great base for visiting the beaches. We cannot wait to visit again! Thank you so much Val for making this wonderful.

The location can't be matched, gorgeous views over the marshes and big skies The house is warm and inviting and well equipped with two alternative sitting areas. We had many wonderful meals Round the kitchen table. The kitchen was well equipped and enough refrigerator space for our large load of groceries. We met the owner who came over to welcome us. Very suitable for big families or groups. Thanks so much.

Lovely Cottage in a great location

Stayed at the cottage to attend our Son’s wedding. Great location with lovely views and easy access to a choice of larger towns for food and drink. Large Tesco at Sheringham, easy drive and parking. Local pub, (The Dun Cow) a short walk away, very friendly. The owner (Val) came to see us when we arrived to make sure we had everything and made us feel very welcome. Visited Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham Hall and Cley Windmill. Would recommend the cottage for a family wanting to explore Norfolk.

This was the perfect property to reunite 2 sides of the family post lockdown. Downstairs for grand parents and up stairs for grown ups and little ones. Beautiful decor and location, amazing front garden views and wonderfully equipped. Creek cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday.

As two couples with 4 children under 4 years, we found this well laid out cottage to be the perfect setup for multiple families holidaying together. The property is well proportioned and the en suites gave were very convenient for getting all the kids to bed on time. The house is well located for trips to nearby landmarks and beaches - Holkham, Walsingham, Binham and Cromer attractions all within easy reach. Val was a welcoming hostess, leaving a lovely greeting note along with some groceries and treats for us to enjoy. My only regret is that we didn’t book for longer!

The property as exactly as we anticipated. It was very clean and everything worked as it should. There was plenty of kitchen ware which for 7 of us is important and the available space worked well. Bedrooms worked well and everyone felt at home. Rules for COVID were clear and I hope we did our bit in this regard.

We all love North Norfolk and were really looking forward our family get together. We were not disappointed! Creek Cottage is in a wonderful location overlooking the marshes. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was especially nice to meet Val (at a reasonable social distance!). The personal touch makes all the difference. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

The location of the property is perfect for discovering all the local sites with lots of great local food shops, pubs and lovely walks. Perfect layout for 7 of us in 2 families plus Grandma. Clean crisp rooms and beds. Great kitchen/dining room into family tv-sofa room. And out onto patio dining area. Then a great sized lounge room. Well equipped kitchen. Ample bathrooms and en-suites made family bedtimes easy! Games and books available if needed but the seating and views outside out across to the beach were wonderful in the evening. Well positioned for a stroll to the pub which does excellent food and across to the beach. We saw seals and plenty of birds from the beach. This is an excellent house.

The house is fab with bedrooms both up and downstairs. It is comfortable and luxurious. The location is great for exploring both towards Cromer and Hunstanton and is in easy reach of plenty of places to visit e.g. Holkham Hall, Holt, Wells-next- the sea, museums, pools and Steam train rides. Our party included children and a grandparent and we loved our break at Creek Cottage 👍🏻

Very nice and warm , beautiful views. Great local pub and deli. Good access for visiting other places. Didn’t give 5 stars as re WiFi . We think you either provide full Wifi or none at all. The house needed boosters as parts of the house had no signal. And the 4 hour restriction was not appropriate. Especially as you had to use the internet as there was no phone reception. Also water pressure was useless and the shower doors need replacing

We are two couples of ‘old’ friends who because of distance meet twice a year for a catch- up . I chose Creek Cottage as it seemed to give us everything we needed. We were overjoyed when we arrived at such a wonderful location, fabulous eating kitchen and two sitting rooms. This suited the readers and the TV viewers ! We needed four bedrooms and two bathrooms and we got this including a downstairs bedroom ensuite for the less able. There are numerous places to eat within a short distance including the local little cafe that sells crabs and lobsters dressed. Heavenly. This is a perfect place for bird watching, walking, visiting historic houses or just relaxing. We have self catered for nearly 30yrs in Europe and U.K. and this Cottage is in our top five. Thank you Val.

We all enjoyed our stay at Salthouse. The property is on the main road, which connects all the little towns and villages on the north Norfolk coast. We visited some of these using the very good bus service. We sat and played in the garden, which has a very pleasant outlook, being surrounded by a stone wall and lavendar planting. We walked on the shingle beach, in the reed beds and along the paths of some of the villages. Most enjoyable. We were extremely lucky with the weather - in fact it was too hot on the first night of our stay!

Party of: Myself, partner, her parents, my sister, brother-in-law, my daughter and 2 nephews (6months; 10months, 2years) Very enjoyable. Duck pond outside property was lovely for the children and very friendly passers-by. Steam engine taken from Holt to Sherringhan was a must. Very friendly staff and amazing photo opportunities. Property was well kept, excellent condition and spacious. High chair and travel cot provided were excellent condition. Welcome pack and bottle of wine in fridge on arrival was lovely addition. Meeting Val on 1st evening to ensure we were settled in was also very pleasant. All queries prior to arrival were accommodated and responded to promptly. Hopefully will stay in one of her properties again! Thanks Val

This was an excellent choice, everyone felt at home, and didn't want to leave. Really nice open views towards the sea, which can be easily accessed by a nearby footpath. Regular bus route too, so nice to walk in either direction and bus back. Choice of sheltered courtyard, or nice lawn - with outdoor table and chairs with open views. Ideal for relaxation, family meet ups. Lovely kitchen, with everything you need. Well presented, with lots of cottage charm and character. Parking for 5+ cars. Unbeatable!
