If you want to get away from it all, then get away to here!!…..

We were upgraded to a spa room which was amazing…. So a spa, swim up pool and close to the beach is the ultimate request for a guest… But the main thing is you are treated so well, the hotel can’t do enough to help you and make this the best vacation you have ever had…and it probably is…. So relaxed too…. Just a beautiful Hotel…….

Perfect holiday.

Breakfast was good and we liked the restaurant. Dinner was also very nice and staff very friendly. Our room (villa) was perfect. (The rooms do have a certain age and some renovation works cld be done). Pool and beach super. We wld definitely go back.

Good hotel, great staff, but not for us.

Great location to the beach, although hotel did not provide sun beds on the beach, it meant always quiet, which is where we stayed. As everyone dated around the pool. Which we avoided due to some guests excessive drinking and seemed to think rest of people liked hearing them. Big swimming area

No privacy on balconies, had to listen to neighbours lengthy conversations, or not sit on balcony. We avoided pool area due to noise. We like using bikes. Their condition could be improved dramatically.

Paradise in Khao Lak.

Excellent Beach front location. Huge swimming pool with 2 swim up bars. Warm welcoming staff. Good breakfast selection. Great base to explore (we’d recommend the elephant sanctuary).

Great location, lovely beach, and excellent service.

Amazing breakfast, location, and rooms. The staff were outstanding and provided excellent customer service. The pool area was beautiful, and the hotel is located right on a lovely beach.

The hotel is relatively old, and it shows. Both the pool area and the rooms could benefit from modernization, although nothing was significantly problematic. There was some noise at night that sounded like construction work, but the staff were not able to determine the source.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay at The Haven.

We stayed in an amazing swim up room. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Resort was very quiet, had an amazing swimming pool with a swim up bar. Lots of cocktails. Staff were all wonderful.

Haven is the perfect name for thus resort

The resort was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and eager to help whenever asked. At least three calls came to our room during our short stay to check in if there was anything they could do to make our holiday better. We had a beachfront villa with a private jacuzzi. The main pool is huge, you could swim from one end to the other if you desired. The beds, pillows, and betting were so comfortable. The best part, though, was the beach. We were there at the end of October, and while the weather wasn't great, there was hardly anyone on the beach.

I don't think there was much of anything the resort could've done better during our stay. Its a pretty new resort, and there's been a lot of care in the planning and grounds maintenance. Very clean, very friendly staffed. The only downside to our stay was the short amount of time we were able to stay.

Lovely but a bit remote for us

Very helpful friendly staff. Pool area and surroundings are beautiful. Room was big. Huge bed! I think maybe 2x 4ft beds pushed together. Great air con.

It is about 5 miles from the hotel to the night market, and another half mile to main center of Khao lak. Local taxi service will take you for 300baht. There is a hotel bus that drops you off either at the market or main area of Khao lak but it's only for 2 hours. If you just want to stay around the hotel that's fine but we used a lot of taxis. If you are fit you can borrow a cycle from the hotel. Breakfast had a good selection however the hot food such as noodles/rice etc on offer was warm and never hot.😕 We asked to sit in the restaurant part one day to get a cold drink out of the sun in the shade but we're told we could only sit in there if we ate. The bar in hotel didn't open until 2pm Lighting in room and bathroom not great.

The Haven’s facilities were great and the pool access rooms were fantastic and you are spoilt for choice at the bars and restaurants .The staff were wonderful and very accommodating especially with looking after a family member with celiac disease.

Beautiful, but with a bad smell

Beautiful grounds, best pool I have seen, and lovely staff. The beds were amazingly comfortable, shower pressure was strong. Best thing was the pools though - could swim around in them all day xD

They allow smoking on the private terraces by the pools, so you really can't avoid the smell of cigarettes in this place unless you stay inside, or stay away from the pools which really sucks.

Very firendly hotel with lovely communal areas and facilities, perfect resort style holiday

Staff were fabulous and very accomdating - nothing was too much trouble. Communal areas were fabulous, pool, swim up bars, reception, breakfast dining. We did a bike ride excursion which was also great. Food was pretty good quality too - breakfast had lots of variety and the Thai food we ate from the restaurant was good if a bit more expensive than outside, but that is to be expected. Western food wasn't so good - we had soggy chips the one time we chose soemthing off the Western menu! Room was huge and bed was confortable - water pressure was pretty good and everything was very clean.

Shuttle bus timings are infrequent and not that convenient if you wanted to go into the town for dinner so you have to facor the cost of a taxi there and back into your budget if you wish to go out. There was a terrible swereage smell outside our room for the first few mornings we were there, but then it went away. We were in room 2209. Lost of mosquitos and midges due to the rain so spraying the rooms and the facility would have ben good or even to provide insect spray in the rooms. Rooms are a little old fashioned now - traditional is great of course, but a bit of modernisation will be needed soon

Very nice beachfront hotel with a superb pool. There is a huge variety of delicious breakfast options. We enjoyed the scooter rides and complimentary yoga.

Nice location next to the beach. Quite area. A few restaurants close, if you want to try something other than the hotel restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Plenty of free activities at the hotel. Nice big room. Clean. Free bottles of water.

Staff could be more attentive to cleaning up used glasses and plates by the pool. We often had to wait at the pool bar because there were not enough staff. They don’t keep clean pool towels at the pool. So you have to go to the reception to get new, which is weird. They do buffet evenings at the restaurant, but it’s overly expensive and not recommend. Eg the ice cream stand only had 3 different weird flavors (some kind of tee). Wy don’t you do chocolate and vanilla that everyone likes?

A wonderful relaxing holiday in paradise

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday on the beautiful Khao Lak beach, short taxi ride into the nearby Khao Lak and Ban Niang towns and some very good traditional Thai restaurants nearby within walking distance. Hotel staff were fantastic, always very friendly and keen to help. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

a nice stay overall

swim up bar, private beach and use of complimentary kayaks, bedroom was large and comfortable. breakfast was good.

access to our room was via staff only/back of house or a 5-10 min walk around the property. bar service was slow, there was an issue at the end of our stay where the wrong bill tab had been allocated - all sorted in the end but a bit inconvenient. Would have been good to have been a bit closer to khao lak town/ for there to be more shuttle buses (these were available but extremely limited timings)
