B&B U Palmentu

Great location to explore Taormina and the surrounding area. Our room was a great size for two. We lucked out and had a balcony around two sides of the building meaning we could see the coast for miles in each direction, the rolling Sicilian hills and, of course, Mt Etna. There were also beautiful communal terrace areas too. We never met the owner but they provided clear directions before we got there. The housekeeper cleaned daily and did a fabulous job. The stairs from Taormina to the B&B are a bit of an effort but worth it for the views (just don't attempt it with a suitcase - like us!). There is a bus a few times a day from nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Water was off in the whole street one morning and we didn't have hot water another day but both were working as normal in by afternoon

Good location with a nice view. Walking 3 mins to the bus stop and just 20 minutes walking down the hill to Taormina Centro.

The staff/owner is absolutely inattentive. I wrote to them weeks in advance, even translated to Italian, but there was no answer until they had to inform me checkin information. Furthermore, I booked sea view but there was “tree view” to someone’s garden. Wrote them but there is no answer, nothing at all. I had to call Booking.com’s customer service to sort it out. Booking.com’s customer service informed me that they couldn’t come to an agreement with the host to move me to the room that I paid for, therefore they could only offered me some credits to pay to my account. Mind you, they were still advertising another “sea view” room to that point on Booking.com and the price is higher compared to the normal room.
