An authentic hideway!
If you’re looking for a place to escape busy life then this is the ultimate place where you can relax, unwind and disconnect from the outside world. An authentic hideaway cottage in a peaceful location, at 5 km from Frigiliana. Inside, comfortable furnishing awaits with rooms divided over two floors.
Location and outside area
Situated in a unique, elevated position, at 5.2 kilometres from whitewashed Frigiliana, this villa offers unbeatable views. From the main road, a concreted mountain track of 2 km leads to the property, giving it a private and exclusive feel. The last 400m are unsurfaced but can be driven with a normal car without problems. For those who wish to take a dip in the ocean or try the excellent paellas at the Burriana playa, the beaches of Nerja (12 km) are just 20 minutes' drive. The house has a spacious and shaded front terrace with patio furniture and an inviting sun terrace with private pool of 7.0 m x 3.5 m long and 1.9 m – 1.5 m deep. Sun beds are provided. Adjacent to the sun terrace you will find a splendid built in barbecue area. The surrounding countryside offers excellent possibilities for a nice walks along the avocado, mango and olive yards or mountain climbing more to the north.
Inside and layout
The front terrace gives access to the cosy dining / living room, provided with a wood burning stove, dining table for 4, sofa, 2 armchairs, and flat screen TV with satellite reception. A few steps lead down to the kitchen that comes with a 4 rings ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. A twin bedroom is also accessed with a few steps down from the ground floor. On the first floor you’ll find a spacious double bedroom and a shower room with WC, bidet and single wash basin.
Note: Air conditioning (hot/cold) is available in the living room and in the bedroom on the first floor. The ground floor bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan (and the air from the living room should be noticed).

The villa was a perfect place to relax and unwind. great views of the valley and the sea below.
The shower in the upstairs bathroom. Very minor detail though.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He spoke quite a bit of English. It was so peaceful we even heard the tinkling of the goat bells every evening.
It's a bit of a drive from frigiliana (about 10 mins) but well worth it. A quaint Spanish home. Would recommend to a couple who want some peace and quiet in a private place in the sun.
More mugs and more knives as lots of forks and spoons but only six little knives. So couldn't have drinks or eating when dishwasher was on lol.

We spent 8 days in Apr23 here and enjoyed it so much! The very friendly owner accompanied us to the house from Frigiliana. It's recommended to rent a bigger car for those roads in the mountains.
In the house we found everything fine for an enjoyable time. Luckily it was not too hot , but there are some fans . We come back !
