Excellent sea and food

Excellent summer vacation. Many thanks to Samaina personnel and managament for making this dream vacation possible. We stayed in a room with a sea view. The sea was calm on two days and very rough on one day and we enjoyed both the calm water and the strong waves. The beach has stones and pebbles for a few meters and then sandy sea floor with shallow waters for around 50 meters. Bonus of the vacation was the variety of delicious food. In every meal there were delicious options for meat lovers, rich salad bar, fruits and deserts. The western, northwestern breeze eased the warmth of the day. The staff, especially Chara, Stelyos, Nikos, Maria, Leita, Eva, were there to help you enjoy the best of your holiday. The Rock night was very enjoyable, thanks to the two-piece band. Many thanks!

We stayed ar the busiest period, the hotel was full and sometimes it was difficult to find an available sunbed, but there was someone at the beach to help. The pool is small but has a good depth. The sea had strong waves one day, we enjoyed it but some people may not like it. The pool bar (free drinks for all inclusive deals) closes at 23.00, then you have the lobby bar where you can buy drinks.

It’s a really lovely hotel.

It is very quiet and peaceful. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The pool and the room are clean.

Wi-fi connection was really poor. In our room we were unable to connect internet. And even if we could connect the connection was really slow. Mobile connection is a little bit fast and broadly available but due to limited data package it is really expensive if you are abroad.

Confortable with very very bad food.

Everyone was very friendly and always helped us with anything we needed. Happy atmosphere at the hotel.

The food was really REALLY bad. Never have I had such bad food in my life. Specially the breakfast. Feels like everything was diluted in water. And the coffee? How can it be so bad? Very dispointed. I will come again to Samos for work but will not be staying there because the food was so bad.

Verouderd hotel met aardig personeel en goed eten.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en het eten is zeer goed. Maar het hotel zelf is niet 4 ster waardig. Misschien alleen wel als het 4 sterren op de schaal van Metaxa (1-7 sterren) is. Het hotel is verouderd en ouderwets. Douches hebben gordijntjes, faciliteiten zijn ouderwets en slecht onderhouden en de drank bij de bar is slecht. Vodka heeft 30 percent sterkte daar, nog nooit gezien. Het strand ziet er echt niet goed uit (niet zoals op de fotos) en is bovendien gescheiden door een zeer drukke weg. Kortom, het ia het net niet en ziet er zeker niet zo uit als op de foto’s, die zijn jaar of 40 geleden genomen. Het personeel en het eten maken het wel aangenamer en verdienen alle sterren. De rest niet.

Badkamer is echt niet comfortabel. Douche in bad en met gordijntje - dat is geen 4 sterren hotel waardig. Faciliteiten zoals gym, tafeltennis, kidsclub, fietsen, zwembad, muren - en de rest is zeer toe aan een opknapbeurt / renovatie / vervanging.

-odalar ve otel çok temiz. -personel oldukça güler yüzlü ve yardımcı -konumu güzel, akşamları sahil kenarında yürüyüş yapmalık güzel bir yol var. -eski bir otel ama çok iyi bakılmış, eski olması sizi kesinlikle rahatsız etmiyor. -yemekleri ortalamanın üzerinde bir lezzette. farklı ülkelerden gelen çok fazla kişi olduğu için geneli memnun edebilecek yemek seçimleri yapılmış. kesinlikle aç kalmazsınız. dondurmaları beğendim. -hediye olarak pisagor kadehi verdiler, çok hoşumuza gitti. -otel içerisinde ücretsiz bisiklet kiralayabiliyorsunuz, sahil boyu güzel bir rota var tavsiye ederim. -otelde havlular gerçekten yıkanıyor, kötü durumda veya kötü kokan bir havlu görmedim, otel temizliğe çok önem veriyor.

-çok kötü wi-fi var. internet için kesinlikle güvenmeyin. çoğu yerde çekmiyor, çektiği yerlerde çok yavaş ve sürekli kopmalar yaşıyorsunuz -bazı geceler saat 20:30'dan gece 00:00' a kadar müzikli eğlence oluyor, uyumanız imkansız, rahat uyurum dinlenirim diye birşey yok gece 00:00'a kadar uzaması çok sinirlerinizi bozuyor, en geç 22:00 de müzik bitmeli. çocukları uyutmakta büyük zorluk yaşadık -plajı websitesindeki gibi zannettik ama değil, gene girilebilir bir plaj ama çok dalgalı ve çok az şezlong var. 3 gece 4 gün kaldık, yer bulamadık. extra şezlong isteyecek kimse de plajda yoktu. plajı için gidiyorsanız kesinlikle tekrar düşünün. -herşey dahil konseptinde ama su için lobby barda sebil var şişenizle suyunuzu buradan dolduruyorsunuz. restorantta şişe doldurmaya izin vermiyorlar... pet şişe su veya başka bir şekilde suya ulaşma şansınız yok. pet şişe ile buradan tatil boyu su doldurmak oldukça sinir bozucuydu. en azından odalara günlük su bırakılabilir. -havuz barındaki içecekler en ucuzundan tercih edilmiş. çok da keyif vermiyor açıkçası.
