Hôtel Villa d'Elsa

Great location in the middle of all the action. Easy access to the beach, shops and plenty of restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Being right above the pedestrian street and restaurants it can be quite noisy at all hours of the night and early morning.

My husband and I stayed with our daughters ages 25 and 23. We arrived shortly before check-in time and the extremely nice staff had our room available for us. The room was very comfortable and very clean with a loft for the 2 bedrooms and large living area with kitchen downstairs. We loved having a washing machine, it was nice to be able to do a small amount of laundry after being in Paris and London for a week. Location of this hotel is perfect.

There was nothing that I did not like

Villa d’Elsa is a hotel/residence, where the rooms have small kitchens allowing the preparation of simple meals. The hotel will provide a coffee/croissant breakfast if required. The location is on a pedestrianised street in Juan Les Pins, where there are six or seven restaurants of diverse types. The town is lively with good beaches (some are ‘plages privées’, that charge for access). The town has been gradually improved in the last few years and the remaining work is at ‘La Pinède’, which could be finished for the coming season. The town is definitely ‘on the up’ and I would certainly recommend a stay at Villa d’Elsa, as an economic alternative to the more traditional hotels.

Nothing really. Perhaps the management could put up a polite notice advising visitors that late night chats on landings and corridors might disturb other guests. That only happened once when I was there, but it woke me up.
