Perfect stop over on way to the slopes

Great location. Lovely friendly staff. Big room. Excellent that it was pet friendly. Perfect stop off on the way to the alps.

On level 3 you have to walk steep steps from level 2-3. So worth mentioning if you’re unsteady on your feet.

Its location in the historic part of town

To be told no garage space on arrival - should have been made aware before or when booking. Following the receptionist guidelines to the cathedral car park we got lost and ended up parking a fully loaded car in an open car park overnight. The receptionist should have a simple map to give the route to the car park. The shower floor is very slippery - I cautioned my wife but she still slipped

Great Hotel in Troyes!

Large room, very suitable for 3+ persons. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel Good+ breakfast Could have spent more time, including trying the SPA... for next time, for sure!

Ok , but although put room could accommodate four we were forced getting 2 rooms

The location

The parking was full when we got there and the only reason we had chosen this was due to private parking I had to get two rooms as booking said the junior suite was only good for three adults ( we were 2 adults and 2 kids ) and it turned out the junior suite had a double bed sofa available …

Location was excellent for the old town. The room was great, although we had the more expensive suite.

Parking was a short distance away, but there is no possible alternative in the town.

Convenient and cozy location

The location was very convenient and when I realised the room was a loft style they were extremely helpful to get me into a room that was more comfortable. The whole property was very cozy and comfortable.

Came away a little dis appointed on this hotel due to items listed in box above.

1/ Location. 2/ Parking

1/ No light over seating area in Rm. 208 (Std lamp would of been OK) 2/ Check out staff was very poor. 3/ Try not to use existing glasses when refilling champagne. Noticed when there were three persons the glasses all got muddled up! 4/Rm 303 sliding door to toilet, danger of fingers getting caught in "finger recess" 5/ Breakfast in rooms is difficult and Motel like, for this hotel a breakfast room should be arranged ASAP. Evening meals out in central Troyes - not an issue.

Excellent and comfortable and spacious room. Seperate WC is good. Very kind and helpful receptionist as I had broken my ribs and needed a bat. He upgraded us.

Magnifique

The overall charm cannot be understated. Patisserie directly across street. Dining of your choice within 2-5 minutes. The staff is simply 'outstanding', even when it was our fault the A/C didn't turn on. You learn as you go. Want staff to know how much we both appreciated them.

Great location.

Great location , the family room was generously sized and the hotel offers a great breakfast.The guy serving breakfast was very helpful and polite. We parked in the cathedral carpark which is safe , well lit - it’s about 150 m from the hotel and was 10 euros for the night

The family suite is on the top floor up a narrow flight of stairs I was concerned if a fire broke out we’d be trapped as there wasn’t another exit route. The tv in the main bedroom didn’t work. We could t get the a/c to turn on. That wasn’t a big problem as it was a cool night. The shower is cubicle is very small, the height is compromised as it is placed under a sloping roof. Reception guy was fluent in English and polite once you distracted him from his phone. Although he didn’t seem too bothered when I raised the a/c with him and told me that the main tv wasn’t set up for watching but the other tv in the suite did work .i wasn’t impressed as we had paid close to 400 euros for the room.

Cosy Hotel in a Lovely Historic City serving the Most Brilliant Breakfast!

Troyes is an old, historic city and space is at a premium. This is reflected in most of the buildings which crowd the narrow streets and this hotel is no exception - it feels cosy! The breakfast is the best breakfast spread, I have every enjoyed anywhere - exceptional and far above the typical mediocre effort that most make to produce a continental breakfast. This was far, above and beyond the normal! Whilst the room was not spacious, it was comfortable. What is more, it was a privilege to stay in the city centre, which is simply wonderful. Troyes would be a great place to live!

Not easy to find somewhere to park near to the hotel. The hotel charge extra for parking.

Good location, but hotel needs updating

Air conditioning in bedroom was welcome due to hot weather. Location convenient for sights and restaurants

Hotel feels dated with dark decor. Did not enjoy breakfast , coffee lukewarm , fruit salad not fresh and hot food disappointing. We stayed in a Best Western in Reims two days earlier which was excellent .

I would return anytime

This hotel is fantastic! The breakfast was great, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. I was returning from a cycling race, and they went above and beyond to assist me with my bike and luggage. I was even upgraded to a larger room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel's location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the old town; you couldn't ask for a better spot.

Great central Troyes option

Excellent central location, with well-appointed rooms at higher end of cost range. Friendly staff. Shops, cafes and restaurants all right outside. Solid breakfast spread and unusually good coffee. Complementary spa looked very nice but didn't have time to use.

Car parking has to be reserved in advance (they have 14 spaces only for 32 rooms) - this was not made clear in the Booking.com information. However, it was no drama to park in nearby secure underground 'Cathedral' parking garage (and possibly cheaper) - you can pull in outside hotel to unload car (they lower bollards to allow this and then it's only 5 mins walk to hotel.)

Very pleasant old hotel in old town

The breakfast was excellent. In the room there was a rain shower, which with good water pressure made it a pleasure to take a shower. Bed and duvet were very comfortable for a good sleep.

The parking is nowhere near the hotel, when I eventually found it they gave me the wrong code so I couldn’t get in, very annoying. Also the hotel looks nothing like the picture They also charged for the room which I had already paid for months ago. I assumed they were right so I paid, later they emailed me to say they were wrong and refunded me.
