Extrem ringhörig. Unsere Zimmernachbarn haben von halb 3 am Morgen bis halb 5 Party gemacht. Teppichboden hat bei jedem Schritt geknarzt.

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, hatte aber ein gewisses Flair, hauptsächlich im Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück war etwas minimal, aber die Aussicht auf den See und die Lage hat uns dafür entschädigt.

Happy with my choice - great location and good price

The location was superb - 5-7 minutes walk from the train station but also from the funicular that takes you to Monte San Salvatore - the magnificent viewing point.

The staff working in the breakfast area didn’t sound very cheerful or happy to be there during our stay - it gave a bit unsettling impression. The service was indifferent to the customers. It is important to mention that one of the hotel workers was coughing in a bad way for at least 30 minutes(perhaps not a cold and just too much smoking and nothing to worry) and then went to the kitchen. Usually when one is sick - they don’t go to the kitchen where the food is cooked?

Property is very very dated. Mold and cracks everywhere. There is a night club on the ground floor. Which is not communicated upon arrival. Parking is not on location but across the street on a commercial parking garage. Photos available online do not represent the true reality of the hotel quality and characteristics.

Bloccati fuori dall’albergo senza assistenza!

Location vicina a tutto.

Siamo rimasti chiusi fuori dall’albergo la sera perché non c’era nessuno alla reception. Sulla porta era affisso un cartello con un numero di telefono da chiamare dopo le 23:00. Dopo ore a cercare di entrare e chiamare senza ricevere risposta, mio marito ha trovato una porta nascosta, che non era l’ingresso principale della struttura, ed era chiusa ma non a chiave. Siamo riusciti a entrare da lì.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer müsste dringend erneuert werden.(Schimmel an der Decke , Toilettedeckel nicht richtig befestigt, wenn man das Wasser in der Dusche warm stellen wollte ging es aus) Das Frühstück hatte wenig Auswahl.

Nicht empfehlenswert egal für welchen Preis.

Dazu kann ich leider nichts sagen. Die Fotos auf Booking.com haben nicht mit dem zu tun was wir vorgefunden haben. Das Badezimmer war sauber.

Das Gebäude ähnelt innerlich an ein Spuckgespenst das seit langem nicht mehr umgbaut wurde. Es riecht in den Gängen nach abgestandener Luft. Zudem viel und die Türklinke beim betreten des Zimmers in die Hand. Wie auch die Schubladen waren nicht funktionsfähig. Das Schild der Minibar war zwar am schrank befestigt, leider verkehrt herum was aber nicht schlimm war den die Minibar existierte gar nicht. Das Bett war kaputt und auf dem ‚neuen‘ Bettlaken gab es Haare. Die klimaanlage war zudem ebenso funktionsunfähig. An das zmorgenbuffet haben wir uns danach nicht mehr getraut.

Hôtel datant de la fin 19eme siècle. La deco intérieure aussi... Un rafraichissement ou même une rénovation complète des chambres est nécessaire !! Lorsque que vous êtes dans votre salle de bain, vous entendez le voisin dans la sienne... Chambre très petite... Dommage. Tous ces points négatifs font chuter l'appréciation. Points positifs : petit déjeuner consistant et complet, vue imprenable sur le lac.

die Lage am see mit wunderbarem seeblick, schiffsanleger ganz nah. Ein prachtvolles, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, das viel Charme besitzt. gutes Frühstück und Abendrestaurant. sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter/innen. Ticinopass für viele Ermässigungen inklusive.

Der angekündigte Safe im Zimmer fehlte, das Waschbecken hatte keinen Stöpsel. aber beides stört nicht.

Beim Eintreffen wurden wir nur schnippisch empfangen, obwohl ich Italienschi Spreche hat sie stur nur Englisch gesprochen. Nach dem Fußballspiel sind wir dann ins Zimmer (23:45) was wir antrafen, ist an Unsauberkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Schimmel im Bad, Klebestreifen auf dem ganzen Tisch verteilt, der Teppich Schmutzig, auf den Stuhl Flecken. Und im Ganzen Zimmer Staub und Spinnweben. Das Resultat, wir sind noch ab gleichen Abend nach Hause gefahren. Auch ich habe jetzt was dazu gelernt, die Bewertungen ernster zu nehmen. Wir hoffen das Booking dieses Hotel aus dem Sortiment nimmt.

Quiet, comfortable stay in faded glory old hotel next to lake

Faded glory hotel, dated furnishings, crunchy carpeted floor. But comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, quiet, close to lake and tram. Good breakfast, with view of the lake--though I found it curious that they expected us to cook eggs in a machine with cold water!
