I like to stay in a twin pine family cabin, it was cozy and comfortable, the staff was so really nice and respectful. Very good communication.

It’s a perfect little place for a family getaway. A close walk to the lake, a park on property with picnic tables, swing set, horse shoes. Each room had separate wall heaters and bathrooms. The wood burning fireplace is great for winter weather. You can reasonably purchase the wood, starter sticks and striker at the check-in location. They had maintenance come if you needed anything, including a snow shovel. We added an extra night and they made it so easy.
The property could use a little more TLC, but I’m sure the wear and tear come with a rental property. The garage disposal didn’t work (they offered to fix it), one of the toilets overflowed the first day, but they sent maintenance to fix it right away.

The location was great.
The place isn’t very appealing inside. It could definitely use some new flooring & updating. There were lots of ants inside the bathrooms and kitchen. We booked for the pool and location. Due to covid the pool & spa were closed. If I would have known this prior to booking I would have booked with Big Bear Frontier as their pool had already been opened. After arriving and asking why the pool wasn’t opened yet, Big Bear Vacations manager told me they were unable to open at this time. Even though restrictions have been lifted. This should have been listed on their website and any other booking sites.
