Situated in the modern village El Dorado, on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of Higüey (La Altagracia), near the town of Bávaro and only 20 minutes from the international airport of Punta Cana. Los Corales de Bávaro, where the estate was built, is one the most charming location of the Dominican Republic and one of the best provided with facilities on the whole island. At a stone's throw from the beach, you can find countless bars, discos, restaurants and shops. Completely surrounded by palms, it is situated at about 300 metres from the wonderful and long fine white sand beach of Bavaro, where you can go for beautiful and relaxing walks.
The residential estate is provided with mutual green, private parking, garden with swimming pool, satellite TV and vigilance service.
Near the village there is a lot of facilities to meet all requirements, including banks, public phones, chemist's, medical centre, department stores, restaurants with international and local cuisine, boutiques and pizzerias.
Private security staff, private pool and nearby shopping center. Cafes, call shops, clubs, pubs and other entertainment day and night in surrounding areas.

This rental is in a great location, The complex is old and looks a bit run down. The apartment itself is in good shape. It was very clean. Appliances are fairly new and all funcion well. The bathroom has been renovated, good water pressure and hot water works fine.Bedroom is large but the mattress is not the most comfortable. There was no T.V. in the bedroom. Living room/dining room area has a small tv and a very large dining table with a day bed in it.We were there for 18 days and would prefer a sofa over a daybed, it was not comfortable to sit and relax. The owner only provided 1 key to open the unit. This key also turns on the electricity to the unit. This is a large problem when one person leaves the unit and the other stays .2 keys should be provided. The owner provided 10 kwh/ day of electricity and we were responsible for anything over. This is fine but as soon as you leave the unit the power turns off so the place gets hot.If im paying the extra electricity when i check out then it should be up to me as to how much i want to use. The add for the unit needs to be updated.There is a washing machine but no dryer. It said 2 tv's but there is one, also it said that there was a bbq, there isn't one. Also there was mention of access to a beach club.not sure about that. All together the unit was good and will be fine for any short term vacation.

El apartamento se encuentra situado en una muy buena zona. Muy tranquila y segura, con numerosos bares y tiendas con servicios de todo tipo.
Está equipado con lo suficiente como para estar alojados perfectamente.
No dispone de grandes lujos pero es bastante correcto, ofreciendo sin duda una excelente relación calidad-precio.
Dispone de internet de bastante buena velocidad, lo cual le da un valor extra a la estancia.
La piscina está muy bien, hay tumbonas disponibles alrededor y no suele haber gente. En nuestra estancia tuvimos la mala suerte de que la bomba se estropeó y para cuando la repararon tardaron unos días.
La playa está próxima (5 minutos andando) y en ella hay servicio de tumbonas si se hace al menos una consumición en cualquiera de los bares disponibles en la zona (Soles, Bamboo y Huracán café).
Los precios de estos bares no son baratos, como referencia son 150 pesos cada cerveza (2,50€ aprox).
En la zona se encuentra la zona de shopping "El Pirata". Para nada recomendable. Dicho lugar está regentado como muy bien indica su nombre, por auténticos piratas timadores.
Los chicos que venden allí están constantemente intentando engañarte y contínuamente queriendo venderte y timarte con algo. Son tremendamente pesados.
Recomendaría no confiar en ninguno de ellos, sobre todo con los que son de Haiti que son los menos recomendables.
Como en todo hay una excepción. Se trata de un señor dominicano de unos 55 años llamado Rafael que es un cielo de persona. Si queréis algo de allí recomiendo hacerlo únicamente con él y evitar en todo momento a los Haitianos.
De todas formas para compras típicas recomendaría "El cortecito" no demasiado lejos de la zona caminando por la playa. Bastante más profesional que con los "Piratas".
Volviendo al tema que nos ocupa, la persona que se encarga de recibirte (Enrique) genial. Muy servicial y amable. Nos ayudó en un montón de cosas.
En cuanto al dueño y gestor del apartamento (Antonio), qué puedo decir, todo fantástico, numerosa información y permanentemente conectado.
Desde luego, si repito viaje a Punta Cana volvería y recomendaría este apartamento.

This is nice and sunny apartment, possible to take sun on the balcony, even fan there making wind on hot days. Nice view with coco palms and swimming pool with shower right in front of the house to take early morning or late night swim, sunbeds there, for night mosquito nets on windows, fans in both rooms, lot of dishes. Everything is close: supermarket to bye food or other simple things, cheap vegetables in other place. Beach with turquise water in walking way, bus stop close, money exchange point, always possible to take taxi ot motoconcho.
