Apartmany u Lipno

Good location in the quiet area of a quiet town of Frymburk. 5 minutes walking to the center: cafes, groceries, bike rental is nearby. 10 minutes by car to Lipno nad Vltavou either to Černa v Pošumavi.

I liked the neighborhood.

The location was in a decent location, near the lake and only about five minutes to the nearest shop or restaurant. We never stayed in the accommodation in the end so my average marks are used as could neither say our experience could be rated bad or good. However, there were reasons why we could not stay and Booking,.com were very helpful in resolving this.

Unfortunately, no mention was made on the booking.com advert that the room was reached by walking six flights of stairs up into an attic. Having fractured my back three months ago this was impossible and disabled limitations should be put on the booking,com advert. In addition, the parking was not on the driveway but on a street, out of sight (not mentioned on advert). The owner only took cash in Euros. We were tired after a long journey and simply not able to drive around trying to find a town with a bank with currency exchange. Me and my wife have learned from this experience and in retrospect will never stay somewhere unless it takes cards. Cards have a benefit if you buy products or services and why would someone not take cards? Is it to avoid tax is the first question we would think of, and then if it is not being done legitimately there is probably no insurance. We are not saying this is the reason in this accommodation or other accommodation, we are just saying that personally we feel card offers some protection and is more convenient to pay.
