Amazing location if you are looking for peace and quiet. Beautiful house and gardens. Excellent communication and the house was very clean (minus a few cobwebs!). Would love to stay again.An addition of a brief guide to the local area may be helpful but Annabel was so responsive to any questions and gave fantastic recommendations!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in Annabel’s beautiful home. Our family group was 4 adults, 2 teenagers and our dog. It was very pretty and rustic and had everything we needed there and a gorgeous pool and lots of space in the large gardens. We took a trip to the lovely medieval town of Saint Bertrand de comminges and also went to the ski resort of Le Mongie in Bagneres de Bigorre and went in the cable car to see the incredible views of the Pyrenees. We also went to the lovely lake with a little beach with water sports in nearby Castelnau Magnoac. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Our family of six, aged from 4 to 79, had a wonderful fortnight in Le Pascalet. The house is picture perfect, shuttered and stately, nestled at the end of a plum-tree lined driveway. Inside, the accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish. The beds are super comfy, and the large country kitchen/diner is well equipped with wisteria creeping through the pretty windows - making washing up far less of a chore! French windows lead out from the kitchen to a lovely vine-covered terrace with table and chairs, providing easy outdoor dining, as well as shade during the hot summer days. The centrepiece of the huge lawned garden, perfect for letting the children run wild, is a fabulous swimming pool with paved surround and plenty of sun loungers. It was our first visit to the Haute Pyrenees and we were all charmed by its beauty and tranquility. Traffic is minimal, so distances are easily travelled, and when we could bear to drag ourselves away from the pool, we paid a few visits to the breathtakingly beautiful mountains - including the Tour de France route to Tourmalet and the spa town / ski centre of Bagneres de Luchon - as well as lovely Auch, vibrant Toulouse, pretty Saint-Gaudens and other local villages with their abundant markets. Owner Annabel could not have been more helpful, and proved a wonderfully kind and hospitable host. We'd love to return one day, and can't recommend Le Pascalet enough for a relaxing get away.

Le Pascalet is a large traditional French farmhouse in a peaceful location. It has been beautifully restored and tastefully furnished and is full of character and charm. It has stunning views of the Pyrenees. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our large family group of 8 adults and a baby. The house is well served with bathrooms and toilets and with a constant supply of hot water. The large farmhouse kitchen is very well equipped. There is a choice of areas for dining including a beautiful vine covered terrace and a more sheltered area under the barn, both well furnished and lit. Fresh bread / croissants are available in the next village of Campuzan or in Casternau Magnoac (about 4 miles away). There is also a good supermarket at Castelnau Magnoac. The lounge is cool and comfortable with TV. Lovely large private garden and swimming pool with sun loungers and table and chairs. We visited the Pyrenees, just over an hour away, stopping to visit the charming Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges and then taking the gondola up the mountain at Bagneres de Luchon for breathtaking views over the surrounding snow topped mountains and the countryside below (€9.50 return) We had a fabulous week at Le Pascalet.
