Villa Nautilus - Four Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 8

This villa was 2 minutes walk from the beach, 5 from Cala Egos centre where there is a street market on Thursady night and 10 from the marina . We did walk round to Cala D’Or centre a few times but in the heat of summer we tended to use the car . The restaurants around the marina were excellent would recommended Waves for breakfast , Nao and the Yacht Club for its italian night with live music . Great position . The rooms were a good size and the kitchen clean and well equipped although there were no instructions for the washing machine and a lot of the symbols on the dial were worn off so a lot of guess work needed . The separate bedroom upstairs was large with an ensuite and terrace . My husband and I used that and it took our 3yr old grandson a week and a half to discover where we were which gave us some peace . We had to remove our bedroom key and the backdoor key from the ring in order for us to access the rest of the villa in the morning when everyone was asleep and lock ourselves in at night . Also a second set of keys would have been useful all round . There was a gate and space for a car but unfortunately couldnt use that and had to park on the road which was worrying with a hire car we didnt want scratched ! The outside of the villa was nice though there are steps straight out of the patio door which my grandson fell down so take care with young ones . The pool was clean and well maintained and we spent a lot of time in it . The tabletennis table was a bonus and the large grassy area at the back was shaded by a large tree which was ideal to escape the sun . There was maid service and fresh towels 3 times while we were there and new bedding once which was great . There was a free highchair and travelcot which were both in very good condition for our grandaughter . Our only real gripes were that the beds were really hard and we were all glad to return to our own and the sofa covers came untucked everytime you sat on them which was a nuisance and they weren’t particularly comfortable.

Villan har ett fantastiskt bra läge med en fin liten strand inom 50 meter och ett mindre centrum inom 100-200 meter med alla bekvämligheter som behövs såsom supermarket, apotek, barer och restauranger. Villan är dock aningen sliten och behöver definitivt uppgradera möbler bade inne och ute. Poolen känns fräsch i storlek ca 6x3 meter och är i djup 1m upp till 1,70 på det djupaste.
