If you have imagined relaxing in a beautiful house near the sea, enjoying the Greek weather and food, reading your book and listening to your music, this is the perfect place for you! Located only 4 minutes walk from the sea and 8 minutes to the wonderful beach of Ag Paraskevi it is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing holidays. During the day take a seat at the veranda with your cold drink and enjoy the picturesque Landscape. At night time enjoy the starry skies while seating under the almond tree.
If you enjoy snorkelling there is no better place than the crystal clear waters of Porto Germeno. Dreaming of fishing- Walk with your fishing rod down to the rocks !

Maria's house is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Simply furnished but with all the essentials, including a big fridge/freezer, coffee maker and washing machine. The terrace and garden were perfect for sitting out and sharing evening meals and wine. The location is sleepy, but the beaches are close and the amenities of Porto Germeno aren't far away. A car is essential, but if you're confident driving in Greece then day trips to places like Delphi and Corinth are easy. Athens is also within easy reach (we drove to Aghia Marina metro station and parked in the multi-storey car park). There are street dogs around the house, but they are not aggressive and we didn't find them too noisy. They certainly weren't a problem for us. The neighbourhood was friendly, and it was nice to say "yasas" to neighbours walking past.Maria's house isn't high luxury, and the area isn't the place for night clubs and high energy activities - but if you're looking for a quiet place to hangout and enjoy life then Maria's house is perfect.

Das Haus liegt in einem hübschen kleinen Ort in einer Bucht über Serpentinenstraßen(!)mit traumhaften Ausblicken erreichbar, der nächste Ort ist 30 Fahrminuten entfernt! Der kleine Supermarkt hat das Nötigste zum Auskommen, Restaurants sind vorhanden ( nur eins probiert, war gut). Wunderschöner Kieselstrand mit schnell tiefem Wasser ( nichts für Kleinkinder), nie überfüllt.
Das Haus, früher mal sehr schick, nun etwas veraltetes Mobiliar. Das Bad könnte eine Überholung gebrauchen. Bei Sturm ist es zugig (Fenster undicht).
Dennoch fehlte nichts, alles funktionierte, die umlaufende Terrasse mit Meerblick und Außenmöbeln wunderbar, keine Einblicke durch Nachbarn. Wer nicht allzu pingelig ist genießt den individuellen Charme in dieser Oase. Mit Maria ständig in Kontakt gestanden, sie hat uns immer gut beraten.
Auto fahren sollte man können.

We’ve been to Porto Germeno twice, both times we stayed at Maria’s house.
The house is clean and spacious, with everything we need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the perfect weather, the crystal clear sea, and the Greek cuisine in local restaurants.
We hope to come back again.

The house is located in a small town just near the sea. There are a few beaches in the town; we went to the one which is in the northern part of the town (about 5-7 min walk from Maria's house).
There are a few restaurants in the center of the town, a cafe where they serve waffles and pancakes and a nice bakery near the bus stop (all of them in about 20 min walk from the house). If you prefer to cook your meals, you can find all the needed kitchenware in the kitchen (including a coffee maker). There is a small supermarket in the center of the town where you can buy bread, fresh vegetables, eggs, dairy products, etc.
We enjoyed our stay at Porto Germeno!
