Holiday Home in Noordwijk with Sunny Garden

The holiday homes are perfectly located between the flower fields and the coast, so there is so much to do on the doorstep. We drove up from the Hook of Holland and didn't use the car again until we headed home. Cycle routes from the property can take you to the seaside towns of Noordwijk and Katwijk as well as towards the world famous Keukenhof Gardens - all within a 30 min ride. It is also possible to cycle to Leiden and Haarlam, a little further afield. The cottage exceeded our expectations - although it only had one bathroom there were two separate toilets so great facilities for a group of two couples. The kitchen was well appointed which was important as we cooked every day. The living room is spacious with enough seating for 5 and the garden was sunny, secluded and private with table and chairs for eating outside and relaxing in the evening sun. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and benefits from a wet-room style shower which is so good for accessibility. The cottage also has a utility room with separate door from the outside which was perfect for storing our bikes. Although we took our own, the site has bikes to hire. The staff were so friendly and helpful which really made the stay extra special. We can't wait to return!

Nothing! Everything was great - there was some confusion over the towels but this was soon rectified by the helpful staff. We took our own bath towels but in the end hired a towel pack for £6 which included bath mat and hand towels as well as tea towels and cloths. We bought washing up sponges and liquid at the supermarket nearby.
