Super Lage, schöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung, nette Begrüßung.

Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung der großen Wohnung, ebenfalls auf der Terrasse mit Lounge, Tisch und Stühlen. Liebevoll eingerichtet.

The holiday apartment house Sonne is located in a beautiful area, in the town of Thiessow on the Mönchgut Peninsula. The town itself is very quiet, peaceful, picturesque, layed in an idyllic area, surrounded by the open waters of the Baltic Sea on one side and the shallow, quiet bay (Boden) on the other. There are 2-3 good restaurants in Thiessow, that are worth dining at and a well-stocked store, which made our stay comfortable and easy. The Mönchgut Peninsula is probably the prettiest place on the whole island of Rügen, definitely a family-friendly place, for people who value nature, idyllic landscapes, and active resting on a bike, kitesurfing, or simply resting on the beach. The holiday house is divided into several independent, large apartments with separate entrances and own terraces or balconies. It is modern, nice and well maintained. The owner of the holiday house, Ms Shevchenko, is very kind, professional and always helpful, while not disturbing and engaging with her presence. The standard of the apartment (in which we stayed in July 2022) was very good. The rooms were large, modern, clean. The kitchenette was large enough and well equipped, while the bathroom was clean, with sufficient amenities. I definitely recommend staying in the Haus Sonne. It's a great place for families with children and people who value nature, peace and quiet and picturesque, original surroundings. :-)

The view from the windows of the apartment was not particularly interesting (Haus Sonne is located in a residential area, surrounded by other holiday houses), but it takes only 3-5 minutes to reach a beautiful, large and sandy beach, walking along the path through the coastal forest.
