A very enjoyable stay with great size pool

Very well equipped with everything (except pots) we needed for a comfortable stay. Great amenities and not too far a walk to main tourist areas

Dated bathroom in main bedroom with a shower cubicle with doors that were difficult to close and not very pleasant shower curtain in over bath shower. Overall quite tired decor - could do with updating main bedroom en suite and wardrobes

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay at villa jenny. Pool area was amazing and perfect for the kids.... villa itself was comfortable and air-conditioning worked well. Prime location perfect for evenings out in protaras.

A few areas of the house were a little old and tired but nothing that bothered us.

Cyprus get together

We found an absolute gem with Villa Jenny. It was spacious, clean, and in a great location. The pool was large and well kept. In fact, the whole property was beautiful. The garden was a bonus. The main attraction for us (a group of old friends having a few days away together) was the location. 10 minutes walk to great beaches and 15 minutes walk to the busy 'strip' of bars and restaurants. Check-in was straight-forward. Rooms were large, and each had its own bathroom.

With tiled floors throughout, you could hear every move downstairs. Made a lie in difficult if some people were early risers.

The house is really spacious, the bedrooms are all big, all with on suites. It fit our family well as we had 6 adults and 3 children, everyone loved the pool (once it was clean), it was a great size and had a shallow end as well which was great. My son really appreciated the goal in the garden to play football. The air conditioning units are brand new so this was really positive.

We had to ask to get the pool cleaned on the 2nd day as it actually looked like a green swamp, while the host got someone out the same day to sort this should not have been an issue to begin with. The house does not feel like it has been deep cleaned in some time, it’s just surface level and you can tell, espchially in the kitchen. One of the showers in the twin bedroom does not drain well so you have to switch it off periodically when showing to make sure it does not overflow.

A big disappointment

First of all,this was a big disappointment. We chose to rent this villa among many others for the heated pool as it was supposed to be according to the ad on booking.com. It turned out afterwards that this was not possible. We also noticed that the coffee machine did not work and that the so-called grill was a pile of junk. This was supposed to be fixed,but it never happened. The property itself is well is well renovated and is located in a nice area,it just such a shame that the overall impression is so negative

location: Only 15min stroll into main area. Good outdoor areas, pool and garden nice. Quiet area just off main road.

Although we had some issues during our stay, the manager was attentive to messages and assured as all would be sorted for the next holiday makers. Offered a small refund for our inconvenience, which was appreciated.Could do we a refresh to make it even more appealing.

4day trip to Protaras

Smooth check in process. The pool was clean and the house has a big garden.

The barbeque was broken and we had issue with the air conditions (one was very noisy and the remote wasn't functioning for the other one). Two of the pool beds were broken.

Very good

Villa had plenty of space for a large family, good location, large pool, great that there was a downstairs bedroom would accommodate elderly or disabled. Plenty of bathrooms, large area around garden and pool area. Completely flat walking to town no hills to climb. Sea views between villas from pool area. We had a great holiday, would definately return.

Some of the things were either unavailable or unuseable ie barbeque was filthy and unuseable. I requested a cot that was not available even though they said it would be there, after contacting host he sorted this request. Kettle on arrival wasnt working but after searching all cupboards we found a replacement, no toaster. I was told host would meet me on arrival after several attempts to contact host the taxi driver found the keys for property. We had no wifi for a day as there was no welcome book to give us any information about the villa or even local facilities etc. Also it states there were tvs in all rooms this also was not apparent there was only 1 tv in living area. Although many of these things were annoying it did not stop us from having a great holiday and would certainly return to this villa. Could do with updating. Pool was not heated.

Disappointing. I cried.

The location is great, and there is ample parking. The grounds and gardens are a good size. Roof terrace is a bonus. Plenty of hot water when needed. Free wifi.

Couldn't get in touch with the host on arrival. Kept phoning for over two hours. Friends had been waiting there longer than me. I honestly thought I had been scammed. He had his phone on silent, even when he knew he had guests arriving and didn't answer my texts before I left the UK airport. It was late at night and I was very grumpy by the time I got hold of him. A simple text with a key code would have alleviated all that stress. The villa was filthy. Dusty and dirty. I appreciate this is a hot country, but this hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. The host argued it was the end of a long season. I argued back that first guest or last guest, they all deserve a fresh clean welcome. Cleaners were summoned and they spent hours bottoming the place out. You should have seen the dirt and cr@p they turned out. The top of the fridge door had crumbs in it from the dark ages. Fourth bedroom off the kitchen is not fit for purpose. It's a double room only because it has a double bed in it. The walls are thin and if you stay in this room, you can hear every cup and plate being taken out of the cupboard on the adjoining kitchen wall. It's airless and stuffy and the aircon rattles like an old freighter plane. The friends who ended up with this room left after one night and found an apartment nearby. There was broken furniture - a rocking chair in the lounge. Lamps were mismatched and broken. One in the lounge has had the plug cut off. Sofas covered with stained throws. Debris and rubbish out by the pool. Old water bottles, dead plants, cigarette ash ingrained in the wicker furniture. Old dead pool inflatables, knackered pool floats, and lounge chair cushions left dusty and dirty on the ground elsewhere. There is a shed with bikes in it, but the tyres are all flat. The whole villa felt like it was kitted out with someone's casts offs. Like staying in a charity shop.

The villa has lovely grounds for kids to play and is in a fab location. About 10 minutes walk to the main strip. Great facilities and storage and an ensuite to every room. Loved it.

Building work directly opposite the pool area meant It was a little noisy and dusty first thing in the morning. But finished before midday heat so didn't bother us too much.

We loved the pool, the facilities were good, there was air con in every room and a bathroom for each room. We had a great time hanging at the villa and would definitely recommend to groups!

There were no recycling facilities (this might be a council issue rather than the owners but seemed a shame with the amount of glass and plastic bottles we used). Information on recycling possibilities would have been welcome.
