Everything about the location was perfect and I intend to stay there again when I return to France.

The location was ideal and cottage was perfect.

The internet was a bit slow and lost connection late in the evening.

Absolutely a nightmare.

The property was excellent, but whilst booking it wasn’t clear as to how far it was from Calais, we booked the place for 4 days and unfortunately, we only got to spend 2 days, with a loses of 2 days, and for the 2 days my children were unable to use the swimming pool nor any activity areas, it was an absolute shambles.

The beds were without beds were absolutely disgusting, no clean sheets nor pillow covers were supplied, communication was very poor, staff were unable to speak the international language (English) it was like the resort was only for French spoken.

Quiet relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the world.

The property is excellent value for money. The lodges are basic but good and were well equipped. The pool area was clean and there were always enough lounges. The lake is lovely to walk round with an activity centre, playground and a restaurant over the other side. The town and a small village are within walking distance (30 minutes). Items from the local bakery can be ordered and collected from reception each day. It’s a small, quiet site but a very beautiful and enjoyable place to be.

We thought there was a snack bar/shop on site but there isn’t.

Bad place, save your money

- no AC system, if its 40 deg outside it will be 45 inside! - staff mocks if you ask for AC and that it's hotel inside that outside "beh.. yes, it's hot outside so it's hot inside". incredible! - sheets?towel? any basics, not there you have to pay extra. - apartment is given with spiderwebs, and clogged drains, however they threaten that if not delivered fully cleaned on last day they charge you extra! - cannot drive your car to your bungalow. torrential rain? hail storm? 40degrees? injured?shopping? you have to walk all the way morning and night to a parking lot, even though the park is with 4meter wide tarmac roads.

Quiet as it was out of season

The office was closed and did not say to phone the emergency number to get the code for the safe to get our key. The secured parking was open as there was not a barrier. There was no wifi. We could not get our car to the cabin. The cabin next or had noisy neighbour which could have been avoided as the pl e was mostly empty.

WiFi wasn't working during our stay. Chalet could have been cleaner, needed curtains and more lighting. Water pressure in shower was quite weak.

While clearly not the fault Olof the accommodation, as we were with young kids. It would have been nice to have had a footpath the whole way into town. As a result we had to drive.

Low speed. - beds - climate in cabin. - pool is opened 10.00 until 19.30 not 20.00 - pool part for little kids is not filled in this high season - cleaning of cabin was badly done hairs on floor. - mold in bathroom - sqeeking foldable bed. When you turn around it squeeks. - cheap noisy fridge. With mold. - only white bread to order in morning - we left one day earlier. Tourist tax for this day was not refunded after complaint. - cheap electrical equipment in cabin. - only french tv channels and bloomberg

Basic, affordable but great location and space

Affordable and spacious two bedroom apartment with balcony/terrace area and good sized bathroom. Pool is great to cool off in summer. Lovely location by lake and a short walk into rochefort. Amazing local restaurant by the lake. Basic but done well! Cheaper if you bring your own towels/linen.

No fans or aircon, it was a bit hot, beds could have been more comfortable but not bad by any means. No dishwashing liquid, soap or toiletries provided.

Modern but cosy accommodation next to a peaceful lake with plenty of activities and walks

- Lovely modern but cosy layout with a nice balcony; - Dog-friendly; - Nice walk around the lake and to the beautiful town of Rochefort-en-Terre; - Great supermarket nearby with fresh fish, fruit and veg (Super U, Malansac);

- Cooker broke on last evening; - No swimming in the lake for the majority of our stay following a water test, but at least it's tested; - Lack of dog-friendly beaches nearby with inconsistent advice on the websites. You can easily drive 40 minutes to a beach that was supposed to be dog-friendly and arrive to find on the signage that it no longer is at all or during summer months. We went to about 6 before finding 1 which has a dog friendly section, which was still far from clear (conflicting signage);

It’s a very relaxed and peaceful place to explore.

The cabin was great, spacious and clean, with a good terrace and a lovely quiet lake view. The lake and the walk to the local historic town of Rochefort-en-Terre are fabulous for various teenage/family interests. The restaurant o the lake was great, and lovely to walk to in the evening and watch the sunset.

The cabins are all attached, so it can feel a bit like living on a street. But it’s very quiet at night. It would really benefit from a small shop onsite fir basics like bread and milk. The place says it’s eco but we weren’t sure what that meant. More could be made of this.
