Small, quaint, homely, Amazing central location for old town square and beach.

No parking, can be noisey after 12 with music from old town but shut electrical shutters and blinds

It was close to restaurants, shops, and beaches.

The lighting was poor in the first bedroom. The kitchen wax very small and had only one plug for coffee machine, toaster, and microwave. The bathroom was very narrow and the window too high to open. The shower was ok. The worst was the mouse’s night from the central square in old town

Place was in prime spot in centre

Property had everything you wanted

Excellent location. Size and layout of the property was just right for a family of 4 (2 children and adults). Tiled floors and traditional style of decor was cool in the heat, easy to keep clean and added an authentic feel to a stay in an old town in Portugal.

No oven and a distinct lack of kitchen prep space - made cooking for a family rather difficult. No provision for drying wet beach clothes. Though the apartment has some attractive qualities, it does require some updating and maintenance... There was an unpleasant smell and an infestation of drain flies (from the bathroom) on entry, due to the plumbing system - which is located immediately outside the main bedroom. This was addressed but returned daily and negatively impacted our stay. In addition we were rather disappointed with the condition of the sofa in the living room - which is shedding heavily (painted fibres) - which resulted in us sweeping up multiple times each day 😕. A few other issues that could be addressed to bring this apartment up to a good standard for a family holiday stay.
