Hotel La Alfonsina

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht: ein neues Hotel (im Boutique Stil), schönes großes Zimmer, vor allem super bequeme Betten und Pölster. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut, das Frühstück war ein Traum (super Buffet und hervorragender Kaffee für einen verwöhnten Wiener). Parkplatz überdacht vor dem Haus. Empfehlen möchte ich auch das zugehörige Restaurant „Las Piscinas“, einige Kilometer entfernt: exzellente Küche und Service zu moderaten Preisen.

Nuestra estancia ha sido excelente de principio a fin. Todo estaba muy cuidado, el personal fue muy amable y nos sentimos como en casa. Si tuviera que destacar dos cosas, serían sin duda las camas, comodísimas, en las que hemos descansado de maravilla, y el desayuno, muy variado, abundante y con productos locales de gran calidad. Justo lo que esperas cuando visitas Cantabria: sabores auténticos y una atención excelente. Sin duda, un hotel totalmente recomendable al que volveríamos encantados.

Habitación limpia , desayuno variado y casero muy rico . La atención de Alfonso pendiente de los detalles. Muy recomendable. Volveremos. Gracias por todo.

No hubo algo que no me gustará

Very helpful staff. The location was perfect for our first night stop after arriving in Santander at 6pm on the ferry from UK. No restaurant in the hotel but the owner drove us to their restaurant in the next village. The food was superb and well worth a short car journey. We were a party of 14 so can't guarantee that would be offered to all guests though.

No restaurant in the hotel (see above) so be prepared to drive to the next village. This isn't made clear on the Hotel website or on Booking.com. I only found out because I requested a dinner menu a few days prior to our stay.
