We loved this place. The staff were hugely friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but were allowed to check in, and were given a room with a balcony, which we had not expected. The breakfast was excellent for just us and two more guests.

Ponte de Lima. Otherwise not much!
A lot. It’s run down. The rear of the hotel is unattractive with a derelict pool. There is a noisy pub behind the hotel. The air con didn’t work. Breakfast was very average…. Overall it was disappointing.
