Very cozy and clean apartment. Everything is prepared up to even small details like freash flowers, make-up removal wipes, few items for breakfast and etc. Also the terrace is really big and well equipted. Host is incredibly friendly and caring. Idana has many recommendations and a best skipper recommendation for a boat tour, she even drove me to and back from boat tour! Spacious and clean, location excellent. The veranda was an added bonus. Our host Idana, was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very attentive, she arranged food for us on our arrival for which we were very thankful. She was most knowledgeable about Polignano and was easily contactable should we need her.

Nothing, everything was lovely

These things are always subjective. From my POV, the most important considerations are a quiet and secure location, bed and pillow comfort, good hot water supply, cleanliness, and ease of access. This is a well maintained property that has everything you need and then some. The private terrace is huge and a great place to have a quiet escape. Your hosts are really good people and very helpful. You can easily tell that they truly care about you being happy and satisfied with your stay. I drove a lot on this trip and learned the hard way that parking challenges are not to be underestimated. Here, you can have indoor parking that is about 3 blocks away for 20 euros per day. If you’re driving, take it! I want to give a shout out to a great little café I found that’s basically right across the street from this property. Caffe degli Artisti is a locals’ place. The people that work there are great and the vibe is wonderful. You will likely be the only non-local, but that helps this place to be so authentically Italian. I was friendly, smiled a lot, and used a translation app to communicate. By the end of my three days in Polignano a Mare, I was accepted and greeted like the regulars. So cool!

I wouldn’t say that I disliked anything. I’ve found that outside of hotels, and even in a number of them, especially the older properties, stairs are something you will deal with. I believe that there are four flights here as you are on the top floor. If you want oceanfront, or to be in the middle of town, or you have mobility challenges, this is not optimal for you. The ocean, restaurants, and all of the typical tourist destinations are mostly 5-10 minutes away by car. It’s easily possible to walk to the train station, and many other places as well. This, of course depends upon your particular circumstances.
