The owners of the flat were incredibly kind and helpful. They were also very flexible. We arrived early on the first day before the flat was ready, and they allowed us to leave our luggage somewhere safe so we could already start enjoying the city. They did the same for us on the day we left, which we really appreciated. They gave us lots of great recommendations and tips for exploring both the city and the surrounding nature areas. They were always easy to reach whenever we needed something. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful or enthusiastic about this place — and especially about the owners. If you’re planning to visit Milan, don’t hesitate to stay with Giancarmine and Violetta. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

The apartment was quaint and had mostly everything we needed. The location was great, with easily accessible transportation right opposite the apartment. Easy access to groceries and restaurants. Our sweet landlord gifted us a bottle of lovely red wine one and some home made breakfast cake, and offered up a ton of local information to make our stay a better one.

The things missing were truly minor (eg a spatula, some extra pillows etc), but I know our kind landlord would have walked over instantly with whatever we requested. The courtyard views were a little less than what we expected but we were still able to sit outside every evening with a glass of wine to enjoy the lovely weather.
