Einige Kilometer außerhalb von Montolieu. Ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber, schöner Herrensitz (wenn auch etwas renovierungsbedürftig). Leider keine AC, was im Sommer schwierig ist.

The hosts are very nice and welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic. It pains me to write this negative review about the property, but the current rating is 9.4 (as I write this) and that is not accurate.

The entire place is not well maintained. That aside, we visited in the summer. The room was on the second floor and required that we drag our suitcases up a flight of stairs and then down some long halls. Nothing too terrible. When we get to the room, we noticed th There were no mosquito screens on our room’s windows. When we asked how to keep insects out while cooling the room, the host suggested opening the windows and using a plug-in mosquito repellent. Unfortunately, it didn’t work—the room quickly filled with mosquitoes and moths. Closing the windows made the room unbearably hot, so I eventually slept on the bathroom floor with the window open just to get some airflow. The next morning we noticed that the host’s private rooms had mosquito screens, which made it frustrating that guests weren’t provided the same solution. The breakfast area also had a musty, stale smell. Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible, but it certainly didn’t live up to its high rating.
