Location, view from the room and nice breakfast
The noise from the road in the room which didn’t make it relaxing, the price per night for a little town. Bathroom would benefit from an upgrade. The hotel was closed around midday to check in so we could not leave our bags.

Old school French Hotel, with excellent views. Short walk to the old town, with bars and restaurants. Bike storage for Via Rhona cyclists.

Good location for a stopover when driving to south of France. Lovely view over river. The breakfast had a good array of handmade produce. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful.
Our family room smelled strongly of garlic, even after opening the windows. No thought had been put in to the decor from 1st floor upwards, so the bedroom felt impersonal, unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The mattress protector seemed to be of plastic and made it feel like a hospital bed.
