About this cottage rental

This Cottage is part of the Ancient village of Manorbier. Next to Arts and Craft Gallery, Hotel nearby and in walking distance to the Bus, Train and the National Coastal Path. It sleeps 4 One King Bed and 2 Single Beds in 2 Bedrooms with views of the Castle. The Village is steeped in history so an ideal place to get away and to completely chill out. Very comfortable cottage with lots of light. Ideal for anyone who loves art,writing and walking.There is all mod cons here. Including a lovely garden. Dogs are allowed at the Cottage. Also during your stay your have free entry to the Castle within the opening hours.

Lovely detached cottage, pretty enclosed gardens with different levels which was great for the got. The beach and costal walks from the doorstep were stunning. We loved how quiet the area was. Local pub and shop a few minutes walk. We loved walking around the castle which is opposite the cottage.

Apart from a mix up with them double booking.The owners did their it best to make up to us with a night at the local hotel with breakfast and refunding us one night. The house is gorgeous very comfortable everything you could wish for and more. The village is lovely with the castle and 12th century church and the beach . Fantastic walking .

Roomy with a large and varied garden with good places to sit in the sun or the shade. The house full of eccentric and attractive statues and paintings. The short walk to the beach meant no ,parking charges! The castle is even nearer and well worth a visit ( including the good little cafe)

Had such a lovely stay. A very pretty cottage and so quiet. It was a great location for exploring the area and some great dog walks nearby. A very short walk to the beach which was such a treat and a great dog friendly pub within walking distance. As a tip - I'd make a note of the entrance info - I relied on the app but there's no phone signal in the village! The Post Office kindly shared their private phone wifi so all was ok. There's wifi in the cottage so not a problem once you're in. The host was brilliant at communicating. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this cottage again. Excellent

Great property in Manorbier, initially Id booked it for my son and daughter in law as its there favorite place, I can confirm we would definately go back.Comms with the owner were magnificent always responding straight away and most helpful.

Beautifully furnished very comfortable home-from home which is very well-equipped(couldn't find any kitchen scissors!) We felt relaxed upon arrival and slept well in the comfy beds.We had a wondeful Saturday evening enjoying excellent food ,atmosphere and live music at the Castle Inn this time.

This is a beautiful house, comfortably furnished, in a stunning location. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs. It is a stone’s throw from the castle (free entry for guests), the lovely bay, a good local pub and a well stocked village shop. The Pembrokeshire coastal path is close by, as are Barafundle Bay and Stackpole. Plenty to see and do in this wonderful location.

We spent a very comfy few days at Castle Lodge and we were very pleasantly surprised by just how close the castle and beach are to the property. We would highly recommend the Castle Inn which was another delight that was virtually on our doorstep. Not sure about whether the Art Gallery is still open ,but we didn't find it so and the same was the case for the church.These things were not detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay as Manorbier provides an excellent base from which many other lovely places can easily be reached and explored. We would have no hesitation in returning to this home-from-home and would (and will) recommend to others.

Really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The area is beautiful and the cottage well equipped and just a short walk from the beach. Kitchen and bedrooms were beautifully comfy with everything you could need. Lovely garden a real bonus. Only minor gripe was that the dishwasher could do with some attention as it doesn’t really clean things, so we had to wash up before we could use things like glasses and mugs as they’d been left grimy. Fine for the two of us though; we just washed up. The village is nice too. There’s a small shop and a dog-friendly pub which does good food. Tenby and lots of touristy places nearby if that’s your thing, or incredibly easy access to the castle and coastal path. Really happy to have stayed here.

The Castle Lodge was nestled in a small community busting with local history and color -from the scenic beaches and walks, to the very welcoming residents. Delicious food and ambiance at the local pub and cafe.

We loved staying at Castle Lodge - it was the perfect cosy break over February half term. We walked the coast path, visited Tenby, played board games and read books… just what we needed! The cottage is lovely and warm, the beds are super comfy (great sheets and towels too!) and we felt at home from the start. It has loads of character and quirky touches, plus a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Manorbier is a pretty little village - it was quiet in February but I imagine much busier in the summer. We loved the quick walk to the beach and coast path. We hope to be back again soon!

We absolutely loved everything about Castle Lodge. There's everything you need for a lovely holiday here. The Lodge is very well equipped with kitchen utensils, storage and very much home from home. Lovely in December over Christmas and New Year. Exactly as described and accurate photos viewed upon booking. Opposite the Castle and close to the beach in a lovely village with a well stocked shop and a great little pub. We had a lovely relaxing stay and will certainly go back. We know the area well and have been staying in Pembrokeshire for over 20 years and highly reccommend Castle Lodge.

Property was exactly as described, great for manorbier beach, beds comfortable and bed linen and towels spotless. We did have issues with the TV reception, the signal kept dropping but it was extremely adverse weather 9th/10th/11th december, 2022. 2nd visit to the property and would visit again - hopefully when the weather is not sub zero 😂😂 Great communication with property manager and all the facilities you need within a holiday cottage. 👍👍👍👍

My family and I chose to visit Wales to celebrate my 75th birthday. The cottage was perfect clean warm easy to find. If I needed to find fault my only suggestion would be where to dispose of recycling.

This was a wonderful property. It has everything you could need, well stocked kitchen, lovely open fire, comfortable bedrooms. The location is stunning, with walks on the door step and plenty of places to explore. Only small downside for us was the local pub was dog tolerant rather than friendly, meaning we had to sit in the cold side room on our own with our dog, rather than in, what looked like, the warm and vibrant main bar. Other than that an ideal location for a walking holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at Castle Lodge. The property is right opposite the castle and only a short walk from the beach. We visited in the autumn but could imagine this to be a great place to stay in the summer. Village pub has great food.
