Clean, well fitted kitchen, hot shower, low price, and the pastries and coffee are a really nice touch. Walkable to a grocery store and great views
Location was so difficult. Castiglione and Rocca are nice but not a lot going on in either town. The place is not the kind of hotel that’s great for just relaxing, and it was a pain to drive in or out to go explore the Val D’Orcia. The winding roads up the hill are not for the faint of heart, don’t stay unless you’re a confident driver!
Beds weren’t super comfortable.

We could see that the owner has really put a lot of thought into making her guests feel at home. Lots of little extras in bathroom and kitchen that were a lovely surprise. Loved the decor.
