Excellent We had a wonderful stay at this cosy B&B Chalet La Garde. The house is very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with three lovely bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom – a real plus for convenience and privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. We especially loved the beautiful front garden – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The area is very quiet, which made for a restful and enjoyable stay. Free parking was also a great bonus. A special thanks to Massimiliano, the owner, who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended – we would definitely return! Grace

The best place in the area. By far !!!

Everything!! We loved the area , the house. It was sparkling clean , facilities were awesome. The owners were very responsive and helpful with recommendations. This is the best place ever to stay in the area. We opened the windows at night and heard the river. We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you

La Garde is in an extremely beautiful location - quiet and away from the road so the only sound you hear is that of the small river running through the front of the property. it’s well laid out and nicely decorated throughout

Ski vacation

The Chalet is very confortable with 3 suites, a very.nice kitchen and dining room. It is very clean, well appointed, well heated and in a very nice environment. Very close to Cervino. Massimiliano our host is very nice, quick to respond and very accommodating.

Hidden gem

Perfect location if you have a car. 8 min by car to Bruille Cervinio and 7min to Valtourneche where both main ski lifts are. Kitchen small and basic but enough equipped. Spacious fridge/freezer, induction cooker, dishwasher and microwave. You will be asked to tidy the kitchen to bring it up to same state before checkout, the rest of the apartment is cleaned up by owner. Bathroom has towels and water in shower is quite powerful. Bed very comfortable. Floor heating system works well, it's equally warm in whole apartment. Additional pellet stove with supply of pellet on side. It's pretty powerful. Grill outside makes a great addition. Massimiliano, the owner is very helpful and informative in case you have any questions later on. The place has own magic and I do recommend if you looking for a place away from hassle. There is a Grotto few steps down away and damm up there before tunnel so you can see chalet from top if you go a bit further. Truly recommended.

Small shower cabin, very tricky even for small people. Odd electric sockets with one converter so you ended up with using one socket for all charging. A washing machine could be useful, especially for longer stay but there is laundromat in Valtourneche convenient and easy to use so we did laundry there. All these things were small inconvenience and didn't make our stay worse.

The property was very clean when we arrived and had all needed amenties. The access was quite good, even though it wasn’t in a busy area.

The setting around the location is superb - mountains, forest, a river etc. it’s private and secluded yet below 10 minutes from cervibia downtown. The hosts were also very kind, hospitable and helpful if needbe.

We hired the chalet all bed rooms have well appointed en suite bathrooms Kitchen was very well equipped to enable self catering for 6 people Quiet location with easy drive to free car parks at lift in Valtournenche or Cervinia Close to restaurants in both ski towns

The only thing that would have been nice was a lounge area to relax after skiing only area to socialise together was around the dining table

Wunderbarer Familien-Skiurlaub

Ein gemütliches und geräumiges Chalet. Wir waren nur zu viert. Aber auch zu sechst (weiteres Schlafzimmer) wäre es top gewesen. Massimiliano war gut erreichbar und stets hilfsbereit. Es gibt reguläre Busse nach Cervinia, die allerdings zu selten fahren. Deshalb sind wir mit dem Auto zur Seilbahn gefahren (10 € pro Tag). Für die Strecke benötigt man ca. 10 Minuten. Auf dem Parkplatz gibt es auch Schnellladesäulen. Alles bestens für einen gelungenen Skiurlaub.

Der elektrische Backofen war zu klein für uns. Allerdings gibt es Valtournenche Restaurants, die weit weg sind von Zermatter Preisen, so dass wir abends essen gegangen sind.
