Decameron Panaca - All Inclusive

Los asesores de multinaciones muy insistentes y les ofrecían a uno promociones que no eran ciertas

Amazing staff, loved the pool, awesome location, and the area is very pretty

Food was eh, hit or miss, no AC (yes I knew this before booking the room, but the first night was super uncomfortable, the second one was better), room was old, only two pairs of outlets and one was not working properly (the front desk did send maintenance to try to fix it but didn't really make a difference), I could not figure out how to lock the sliding door

For folks traveling with kids in the eje cafetero, Decameron Panaca is a relatively good choice. The hotel is right by Panaca and has easy access to it, though bear in mind that the entry is sort of hidden on the right to the Panaca entrance and signs are small. Food (buffet and snacks) and drinks are ok for an all inclusive, no top shelf brands. Lots of games and entertainment for kids, so it gets crowded and loud at night in the common areas. Spa area and pool is kid free. We had an event at Panaca and booked the hotel for convenience's sake.

The food is ok but not extraordinary in any sense. Best for families wanting a classic Colombian all inclusive entertainment hotel right by Panaca. Child free couples should look elsewhere for peace and quiet, the bungalows seem to be a good choice though definitely pricier. Food could be greatly improved. Very crowded.
