This was really a fantastic hotel. The communication was excellent. Given very details instructions beforehand on how to find the hotel. The Hotel was in a great location - just off one of the main squares and not far from the river and a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by I think it was Michelle, and given a lovely glass of sparkling water - which was so welcome as we had completed the 10th stage of the Via Francigena and we were very hot and tired. The room we stayed accommodated 3 people and was absolutely lovely - with beautiful decor, a fantastic shower and bathroom and really comfortable beds. Michelle was very helpful with providing directions, restaurant recommendations and pointing out places of interest. The breakfast was brilliant and what a treat to be waited on too. We will definitely return to the hotel and Ivrea is a great place to spend a few days. So easy to get a train to Turin from there too.

A Cut Above! No need to trade atmosphere for service. You felt like you were on an adventure and were treated like family at the same time. The location is superb close to the square and the water front. The terrace is like sitting in a well kept garden. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. We can recommend it enough.
There was nothing to dislike. Bed was comfortable the room had airconditioning. The decore was fun.

I thought that this was a fantastic little hotel. Great location in the middle of town, with parking if you pre book it, and the building itself is exceptional as so much care has been taken with every little feature. Security was excellent. The staff were great and booked a restaurant for me on the night I arrived. Breakfast was brilliant as well with a personal order taken and delivered to your table. I have stayed in 15 different places on this trip and this is by far an away the best place. I will be back as the area is so interesting too with so much history,
