The Grainary Boutique B&B

Beautiful area within the countryside, calm and peaceful. Loved walking around the area saying good morning to the sheep, goats, pigs and hens. Very clean in all areas of the B&B, and the room was decorated perfectly to match with the building and scenery. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was great, the homemade lasagne was absolutely delicious. Great value for money. It was just the perfect break for my husband and I. Had I not had to come for work, we would have planned to stay longer. Highly recommend this B&B.

Beautiful hotel set on a working farm, which gives it a really peaceful and relaxing feel. My daughter loved having the playground and being able to see all the farm animals daily. We booked a family room, which was perfect for the three of us. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We also had an evening meal at the hotel, which was lovely and very enjoyable. The location is fantastic too, with Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s Bay all within a 20–25 minute drive, making it a great base for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. .

Nothing. The only recommendation would be signage as to where you can go for a walk around on the farm and fields as we weren't sure where we were allowed to go.

Lovely accommodation, comfortable, clean room, fantastic countryside views, lovely bar and restaurant area with outside seating, great breakfast.

It was expensive to get a taxi back up to the accommodation from Scarborough after the concert we were attending, so this may be a consideration for some.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT,, location, room, scenic views were 5⭐️. Also breakfast and evening meal’s we had in restaurant also 5⭐️, Also all members who work there 5⭐️ I could go on forever,, sheep,lambs,goats ,pigs not forgetting cats , we will definitely see you again before end of 2026 👍🏻
