Breakfast was very good, the location of the hotel perfect and the rooms were very clean with big bathrooms. I believe the most important thing about this hotel is that it is very close to the shops and also to all Gaudi's buildings!

Our room was situated in the first floor, facing the hotel air conditioning in the back atrium. The first thing that striked us as odd was that we had to pay the full final price before even having a look at the room, but having travelled all day we agreed, which looking back doesn't seem like a good idea. One half of the window was broken, hence it did not close appropriately; when we asked the receptionist if she could give us another room, it was said that they did not have it, but that the next morning the superintendant would come and take care of it, which sadly did not happen. The room was poorly lit and the noise from the air conditioning was heard through the entire night. The furniture was in bad shape and some essentials were missing (toilet brush, tea kettle). The last thing that I would point out is the 'to-go breakfast'; I am aware that checking out of the hotel at 4 am leaves very little option to what could be included in the breakfast, especially as the kitchen wasn't even open, but we mentioned our wish the first day of our stay, when we were told that not only was a picnic breakfast' possible, but that we could also choose what to eat; nevertheless we were provided with some food 5 minutes before leaving by a kind receptionist.
